WASHINGTON, DC - MAY 17: (NY & NJ NEWSPAPERS OUT) Special Counsel John Durham, who then-United States Attorney General William Barr appointed in 2019 after the release of the Mueller report to probe the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation, arrives for his trial at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on May 17, 2022 in Washington, DC. On Monday’s Mark Levin Show, the FBI and Department of Justice interfered in Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns and is now interfering in the 2024 campaign. The Durham report confirmed that the Trump-Russia collusion was a hoax and was used as a predicate to go after Trump while Hillary Clinton got a complete pass. The response from Christopher Wray is disgusting because the FBI is doing the same to Trump now as they did back then, now with special counsels and prosecutors. The FBI hasn’t fixed any problems identified in the Durham report, but instead has doubled down on working for Democrats to spy and destroy political opponents. Also, April 2023 was cooler in the United States than it was in April 1895 despite 1000 times more carbon emissions now, but this information will be hidden to advance the climate change industry. Democrats lie and obscure the truth to advance their agenda at any cost. Later, Mark speaks with Congressman and House Oversight Chairman James Comer about revelations about Joe Biden’s corruption and payments from foreign countries.

Segment 1

Here at the right place at the right time. I’ve read these various reports in The New York Times, The Washington Post and elsewhere on this report that the dorm released on Friday to the attorney general and he released today. If you read The Washington Post and The New York Times, they’re basically involved in continuing a cover up. Which they must. Because they praise themselves, journalistic organizations praise them for the remarkable coverage of the Russia collusion story. The problem is there was no Russia collusion. The Real Story, which the New York Times and The Washington Post and the others didn’t report, which we on Fox and here did discuss the real. Dishonest. Immoral, unethical activity that occurred. Occurred with the Democrat Party, Hillary Clinton campaign, the Obama administration and the FBI and the intel agencies. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is too big. It’s too rogue. It’s too dangerous. It must be slashed. It must be reorganized, and it must be put back in its box. It interfered in the 2016 campaign. In. It appeared in the 2020 campaign, and it’s interfering with this campaign. And not just the FBI, the Department of Justice. I love the way they give themselves names. Self-righteous names. Department of Justice. None. If you’re on the wrong side, it’s not justice. And as Dawn points out, this all began with a phony predicate. A report from Australia. That was not even seriously examined for its legitimacy. By counterintelligence in the United States. And yet the open, the counterintelligence. Full blown criminal investigation against Donald Trump based on absolutely nothing. Which tells you that, again, this was used as an excuse, as a predicate to go after. And at the same time, Daum points out, Hillary Clinton got a complete pass. Hillary Clinton’s lawyers were read into what the FBI had been looking at, what the Department of Justice was considering. But not so with Trump. They just unleashed an attack on Trump. Now I. Fox reports as follows. Special Counsel John Durham found that the Department of Justice and FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law when they launched the Trump Russia investigation. Fox News Digital obtained the report. And it’s on this CROSSFIRE hurricane. That investigation looked into all of the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia. To influence the 2016 presidential election. Based on the review of CROSSFIRE, hurricane and related intel activities, we conclude that the department and the FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in the report. Durham said His investigation also revealed that, and I’m quoting Senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities. This information in part triggered and sustained crossfire hurricane and contributed to the subsequent need for a special counsel Mueller’s investigation, the report said. In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded directly or indirectly. By Trump’s political opponents. The department did not adequately examine or question these materials and the motivations of those providing them. Now, the reason the department didn’t want to is because the department had no interest in it. That is, the department wanted any excuse to proceed against Trump. Even when at about the same time, the director of the FBI and others learned of significant and potentially contrary intelligence. Daum is referring to past FBI leadership in his report, specifically former FBI Director James Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. My God, Imagine if Trump hadn’t fired Comey. Reacting to the report. The FBI said in a statement they conducted 2016 and 2017 that special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions which have now been in place for some time, and those reforms been in place in 2016. The missteps identified in the report could have been prevented. This report reinforces the importance. But showing the FBI continues to do its work with rigor, objectivity and professionalism. The American people deserve and rightly expect. This is disgusting what the FBI writes and puts out. Christopher Wray is a complete fraud and a hack is a bureaucrat. They’re doing exactly the same thing today. Exactly the same thing against Trump. And I’ll get to that in a minute. So Durham said there is a continuing need for the FBI and the department to recognize, I’m quoting him, that lack of analytical rigor, parent confirmation bias and an over willingness to rely on information from individuals connected to political opponents caused investigators to further adequately consider alternative hypotheses that without appropriate objectivity or restraint in pursuing allegations of collusion or conspiracy between a U.S. political campaign. And a foreign power. Although recognizing that in hindsight much is clear. Much of this also seems to have been clear at the time. We therefore believe it is important to examine past conduct, to identify shortcomings, again, prove how the government carries out its most sensitive functions. So you can see by Christopher Frey’s response today he has no intention of doing that. We’ve already made all these changes that wouldn’t have happened if there was an effort today. But there is an effort today. There’s two grand juries, special council and two ridiculous investigations, and I’ll get to that. And then, of course, this all triggered special counsel Robert Mueller. And people will point to the fact, well, he brought three charges and only one guy pleaded, you know, the one that falsified the counterintelligence warrant with FISA. Ladies and gentlemen, I think Daum concluded what we all know, which is any time you’re involving Donald Trump or using his name, they’re not going to convict people who have committed offenses in pursuit of Donald Trump. It’s not going to happen. That’s why he couldn’t bring other charges. So when he brought the two in to slam dunk cases, he lost. These are two slam dunk cases. Susman, the lawyer. And then. Janko, They were found not guilty. Clyde Smith pleaded guilty and served community time. He’s a lawyer and he didn’t even take his license away for altering a warrant. Think about that. Pretty shocking. In other instances, FBI personnel working on the same face, application displayed at best, a cavalier attitude towards accuracy and completeness, the report says. FBI personnel also repeatedly disregarded important requirements when they continued to seek renewals. Of the face of surveillance while acknowledging both then and in hindsight that they didn’t genuinely believe that there was probable cause to believe that the target was knowingly engaged, I just Trump in clandestine activity. I spokes that’s page on behalf of foreign power or knowingly helping another person and such activities. So what the media will do now is attack Durham. Oh, he doesn’t provide any solutions. That’s up to Congress. Oh, he didn’t bring any more charges. Ladies and gentlemen, there can be a massive abuse of power. That is not a an element within the criminal code where they don’t match up. That doesn’t mean the abuse of power didn’t occur. And if you read The New York Times and The Washington Post, you’ll get sick to your stomach, said, Don’t I already read them? Now. When we come back. I want to comment on this. We’ll be right back.

Segment 2

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, a.k.a. the American states, has not fixed any problems. None. And the problem is actually bigger than the FBI and includes the Department of Justice, a.k.a. the Department of Justice. There was never a need for a criminal investigation over the documents. There was never a need for a criminal warrant. There was never a need for a SWAT team, an FBI SWAT team to go to Mar Largo at San Break. At all. There was never a need for any of it. There’s never a need for a federal grand jury. This would not have occurred and has not occurred with any other former president, former vice president, former secretary of state, former attorney general reform or anything else. These sorts of things are handled civilly. They’re handled with comity committee. If there’s resistance, there’s pushback and pressure. But that pushback and pressure has never included a criminal investigation because you could virtually prosecute any former official who has documents. Except for a president because a president and former president have. And authorities than anybody else. But, for instance, they could have pulled that trigger on Hillary Clinton. And if you’re going to pull it on ex-presidents, they could have pulled it on Clinton. They could have pulled that trigger on Biden. When he left office as vice president. My point is there was no need to go to a five alarm fire with respect to Trump and documents and so forth. But they couldn’t wait, and they did. There’s no need for a criminal investigation of the transfer of power in 2020. None. As soon as it was learned that Donald Trump in an Oval Office meeting with the secretary of Defense, the chief of staff to the secretary of Defense, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and others, he on his own suggested that he should authorize 10,000 National Guardsmen to protect the Capitol building on January six, which was turned down by Pelosi, turned down by Mayor Bowser. And this information is supported by contemporary evidence, including an inspector general report that says that should have been the end of it. You don’t authorize or offered to authorize 10,000 armed American troops to protect the Capitol building if it is your purpose to overthrow the government. It’s one thing to challenge an election to challenge electors during a particular state. To encourage secretary of state to find votes and that sort of thing. Which, believe it or not, is pretty typical. The Democrats do it all the time. In fact, they did it against Trump. They did it against Bush. But that’s not obstructing an election. That’s not, in effect, treason. And so they they twist his speeches. They twist his words at the protest or at the rally. They insist that he incited violence. No direct evidence whatsoever. All implications. And that because he led in many respects the challenge to the election that he was trying to prevent the transfer of power, the peaceful transfer of power. And if those 10,000 National Guardsmen had encircled the Capitol building. People would not have been able to enter the Capitol building. So the idea that this man encouraged an insurrection is absurd. And yet there is a criminal investigation taking place in which they’re trying to hang that on him as well. Now, I’m not done. I’ll be right back.

Segment 3

Welcome back, America. Then there’s the two impeachments. Do you remember what Donald Trump was impeached for? A missed opportunity? Nobody remembers. Well, first of all, they tried desperately. To find something to impeach Donald Trump for on this Russia collusion. And they spent 90% of their time looking into this. Working with the media, sending out their propagandists like Adam Schiff, to say that they had a an open and shut case. And so forth and so on. Then they realized they didn’t. Then they had a phony whistleblower come forward. Whose name you were not allowed to repeat. Who talked about a phone call that Trump had. And Trump said the phone call was perfect. Here I’m releasing the transcript. They had this Colonel Vindman come forward, a Never Trumper guy with hated Trump. With a Ukrainian ancestry. And this call was to the. New president of Ukraine, Zelensky. Who was cleaning out the old. That is cleaning out the corrupt prior Ukrainian government and regime. He was the reform. Kennedy. And they hung their impeachment on really one word of one sentence where they were claiming that Donald Trump. Was using foreign policy to try and get Biden investigated. That is some kind of quid pro quo where Ukraine would give money. But only if they would investigate Biden and his son, Hunter. That was a lie. But they truncated, that is, they cut short their impeachment investigation. They went right to the conviction. Convection in the sense of the house making allegations. And rushed it through and Senate of the Senate who had died. That was the first impeachment. The second impeachment was the effort to tie. January six to President Trump. That is the the violent aspects. And they rushed through that. They didn’t hold any serious hearings. They were joined by several Republicans in the Senate side and on the House side because they were angry. They weren’t angry at Pelosi. They weren’t angry at McConnell. They didn’t say, Why didn’t you accept those 10,000 National Guardsmen? Why didn’t you muzzle up the Capitol Police or the Capitol Hill Police? The Metropolitan Police? Which neither the mayor nor Pelosi did either, and neither did McConnell. And so Trump’s out of office. He’s at Mar a Lago. And they pursue his impeachment. The impeachment. Of a private citizen. And they say they do that to try and prevent him from ever running again. This is unheard of in American history. Absolutely unheard of. And you have a media in this country. That is the most corrupt media in the history of this country. It’s worse than yellow journalism. It’s worse than the partisan media at that time, because at least they they made it clear who they represented. They took sides and they even put their names in the in the newspaper, the Arizona Republic, the Arkansas Democrat or whatever. But not today. Not today. The media populated with Democrat apparatchiks. So today you have. Two criminal federal grand juries in Washington. One of the documents case said she had never been a criminal investigation. And one on January six said it should never have been a criminal investigation of the former president, ever. Then you have Alvin Bragg, the district attorney in Manhattan, who brought a bogus case. Now we have the DEA in in Atlanta flipping people, threatening them with jail time, prosecution and jail time if they don’t testify against Trump as fake electors. Fake electors. That’s a criminal case. I thought that is a Congress matter. No, no, no. Fake electors is a criminal case, really. And then, of course, you have the rape case that was brought after George Conway and a Never Trumper billionaire got involved, 27 years old. And the woman involved. Said that she was raped at a department store. She couldn’t remember what year. During the day in a clothes room changing room. And the trial was a disgrace. And you won’t hear this on MSNBC. You won’t hear it on CNN. You won’t hear it from Sununu or any of these people because they don’t want to know from Butkus. But when you can bring in information like a videotape of Access Hollywood. There are two individuals who make allegations that are utterly unrelated. And keep in mind, Donald Trump was not convicted of rape. That was the allegation. Convicted of sexual battery. But that’s not what he was accused of. He was accused of rape. And as I’ve discussed before, it’s very. Convoluted, if you believe. What the complainant is saying. Of the conduct of the president, then you convict him of rape. There’s no lesser included offense. This is a civil case, not a criminal case. This has been utterly ignored for two reasons. One, it’s very important to. I said it. I said it, so they ignored it. It’s okay. You’re out there. So all this is being done now. And so the FBI is interfering with this race. Circling back to the point. The FBI is circling back. To doing what it did before. It clearly interfered in the 2016 election, and that’s pretty much what Daum says. And it’s clearly interfering with this election in a very, very significant way. And that would include not just the FBI. But the special counsel serving as a U.S. attorney and the entirety of the Department of Justice. Conversely, Durham makes the point that Hillary Clinton, her investigation was treated completely differently. And it’s funny, The New York Times and The Washington Post say we already knew all this stuff. The New York Times in The Washington Post rejected all of this stuff. It’s not what they knew, it’s what they rejected. They rejected the fact that Hillary Clinton was treated differently. They portrayed her as a victim. They rejected the fact that when it came to her emails and her documents that she’s treated differently than Trump. They reject the fact that the destruction of e-mails and so forth has been treated differently than Trump. They reject all of that. They also reject the fact that Hillary Clinton and her campaign played a very, very. Significant role. And really. Helping to destroy the FBI. Our electoral process. And look at the division in this country. Look at it. Look at what they did to this country. And I don’t expect The New York Times and The Washington Post. To apologize. They basically just blew off this report. That’s what their articles do. We already knew all this stuff. Yeah. What’s big deal? Because it’s The New York Times and The Washington Post. This is precisely the way CNN and MSNBC will respond. Then they wonder why they’re despised. Actually, they don’t. Their business model has changed. They’re not interested in the least. And appealing to as many Americans as possible. They’re interested in one thing. Appealing to a certain percentage of the population of the people. Not all the people. And that’s their business model and that’s all they care about. That is, they know the Republicans mostly. And conservatives for sure. Do not purchase their newspapers or read their websites. Now prove this to you. When CNN had Trump on, Trump absolutely destroyed the phony partisan host at that town town hall meeting. The CNN audience. Crap their collective. And so what lesson to CNN take out of that? The lesson CNN takes out of that is. Don’t turn. On your audience that that is your base. That is your political base. That’s what they take out of that. And they’ll never do it again. I’ll be right back.

Segment 4

Well, the ratings came out again all across the country. I want to thank all you folks especially want to thank the radio affiliates, stations out there that actually mention my show and promote it along with the other shows. We have a couple that don’t do that. Very bizarre, actually. Boy. I view it as I am a member of the team of every radio station. And we better get very serious about this. Because the auto industry is pushing us out of tens of millions of vehicles. That is. They’re killing off AM. And I don’t think this is just a coincidence. Or the frequency gets in the way. And more and more of these. These automobile companies are doing it. It’s very serious. So the way am radio will remain a force. If we do will be content. Content. Content trumps everything else. If I’m not on a station in a particular geographic area, people find me, they find the podcasts, they find the streamlining. They find you. So stations are only committing their own. These these handful of stations really one station, its own suicide. If it fails to promote its complete lineup. Because people will go elsewhere. And, by the way, in New York. Every single month we crush our competition on w. O r. Every single month. 12 plus 35 to 64. 25 to 54. 6 to 9 p.m.. The guy is a very nice guy. But every month it just is what it is. And of course, we’re up against the Yankees in the Mets playoff basketball, playoff hockey, 6 to 9 at night. Nobody else is. Not 5 to 6. Not 4 to 5. Nobody else. And this is routine for us. This is the way it is. And that’s why the 3 to 6 p.m. hour on the East Coast is the most difficult in radio. And yet here we are, 20 years. So I want to thank you, the listeners. It’s the audience. I want to thank you. Because come hell or high water. However, these things are managed at the local level. You managed to us. I’ll give you an example. Our podcast is Through the Roof. It’s through the roof. The podcast is simply the radio program. And I am talking with Westwood One in the future about doing a. A separate podcast from radar during both. In order to jack up the park’s numbers and get more attraction of the podcast numbers, I mean a podcast as well as our terrestrial radio friends. And in order to. To get on our podcast, you go to Mark Levin dot com, you click on the audio rewind at the top. And pick your favorite podcast platform or. You go to your favorite podcast platform Apple, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify and Search Mark Levin Show and you subscribe for free. It’s always good to have the podcast in the back of your pocket. Always good. I would encourage you to check it out. Well, if my phone screen were working, I would take a call right about now. But it’s not. So let me continue on this. This is going to pass in the next 24, 48 hours. The Durham report. It’ll be like it never happened. Like it never happened. The Democrats using the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Using both. Against Republicans. Against a Republican candidate, against a Republican president, now against a former Republican president who’s running for president. And then they won’t turn anything over. Sources and methods, they say. Sources and methods. So we have no effective oversight. No effective oversight. And so I want to go back to my proposal. My proposal is to slash the budget of the FBI, slash it, slash the number of people. I think the founders of America will be shocked to know that we have this massive federal police force. With unlimited power. That is militarized by one political party against another. It’ll go after parents. They’ll go after pro-lifers. It’ll go after even peaceful protesters. There has to be something that’s done. And if it can’t be done by law, it’s got to be done by budget. I’ll be right back.
