Yes, something I have been promoting for years both on the air (radio and TV) and in my books. Nice to see it mentioned in this link and by Senator Hatch at the Reagan Library. But action speaks louder than words, as they say, and these guys have yet to show much if any serious action in this regard. Hatch’s voting record belies the rhetoric, and constant references in this piece and others to DC-based politicians and pals — ignoring, among other things, the Article V recourse and prudent ideas peculating in the states –makes it difficult to take this piece seriously. A cursory look at Hatch’s record, not to mention Rep. Ryan’s votes, suggests they are ill-suited to speak for the constitutional conservative movement. This isn’t intended to be personal, just realistic.
