On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, the 2020 U.S. Census contained significant errors, overcounting populations in blue states, while undercounting in red states leading to misallocated congressional seats that favored Democrats and cost Republicans about five seats. This widened Trump’s Electoral College victory margin and tightened House control more than warranted. In response, Texas Republicans are holding a special legislative session to redraw congressional districts, potentially gaining up to five more GOP seats in the 2026 midterms. The move echoes a 2003 gerrymander, with Democrats decrying it as hypocritical given their own history of similar tactics in blue states, but it’s necessary since Democrats don’t play fair. Also, a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine would carve up Israel’s indigenous lands and holy sites to create a terrorist state aimed at destroying Israel. Arab nations reject Palestinians while forcing concessions on Israel. Imagine what would have happened if President Trump wasn’t President – the destruction of Israel by terrorists, Marxists, European quislings, the UN, and anti-Semitic elements worldwide, including in the Democrat Party, media, academia, podcasters, influencers, and isolationists. Later, death penalty practices in red states are superior to those in blue states, as the executions of these monstrous criminals are warranted. Afterward, On Power explains that history is filled with tyrants seizing power under the guise of liberty, such as in Marxist regimes where promises of liberation through class warfare and collectivism lead to genocidal police states. Abraham Lincoln highlighted how “liberty” means different things to different people—individual freedom for some, exploitation of others for the rest—resulting in incompatible concepts labeled as liberty and tyranny. Similarly, “democracy,” loosely defined as non-autocratic government, is misused by the power-hungry to deceive, as George Orwell noted in Politics and the English Language, where political words are perverted dishonestly, and regimes claim to be democratic for praise while fearing a fixed definition. Finally, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin calls in to announce a proposal to rescind the 2009 Obama-era Endangerment Finding. This finding declared that greenhouse gas emissions pose a danger to public health and welfare, enabling extensive regulations such as the Clean Power Plan and costing over $1 trillion in compliance.  The proposed rescission aims to eliminate burdensome rules, saving small businesses at least $170 billion and reducing regulatory overreach on emissions standards for vehicles and power plants.

Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin here, our number 877-381-3811.  877-381-3811. I’m going to start with something that I think is a lot different, but that’s not what I want to start with. It start with a because I think it could have a monumental effect on the midterm elections. So let’s start at the beginning. The Census Bureau blundered in 2000. It blundered in 2000. As the pointed out, at the risk of overusing a phrase that 2024 presidential election may be the most important, perhaps the closest in history. That’s what they wrote. But last week’s Census Bureau announcement of serious errors, serious errors will impact the next decades congressional apportionment and allegations. Given the nature of the mistakes, Democrats could hang on to the presidency under particularly controversial circumstances. Well, they didn’t. But the point is that the allocation of congressional seats by the Census Bureau was laden with errors that helped the Democrats get that. So Donald Trump, without question, won a bigger Electoral College victory than was. And then was counted because of the Census Bureau mistakes. But even more than that, look how close the House of Representatives is. It can be close, but it shouldn’t be that close because the sensors made these errors. What am I talking about? The Census Bureau has acknowledged that 14 states had significant miscount in the 2020 census. 14 states had significant miscount. See if you notice a pattern here among the over counted states. Over counted. Hawaii. Democrat. Delaware. Democrat. Rhode Island. Democrat. Minnesota. Democrat. New York. Democrat. Massachusetts Democrat. Five of the six voted for Joe Biden in that year’s presidential election. The undercounted states, if you can see this Texas. Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Illinois. Five of these six states are Republican. The ability for any agency to accurately count each person in a nation of 330 million is, of course, a challenge. But it’s difficult to understand how the Census Bureau missed more than 5% of the populations of Arkansas, Delaware and Hawaii. The changes will impact national politics in a dramatic fashion. They point out the 2020 census led to significant changes to congressional seats apportioned to states. Texas gained two congressional seats, while North Carolina, Florida, Montana, Colorado and Oregon gained one. New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and California. Each lost one seat in Congress. There was significant surprise that population growth winners such as Texas and Florida did not gain more seats. With the possible exception of Illinois, Illinois not losing a seat, the likely affects of an accurate count would have overwhelmingly aided red states. Simply put, the revised figures show that mostly red states had even quicker relative population growth compared to the rest of the country, and especially compared to mostly blue states. It’s possible that undercounted states could have gained at least one seat in Congress while over a count of states may have lost one seat. But the errors resulted in each 600,000 over counted residents of New York and a similar amount undercounted in Texas. In Texas. Last year, media coverage lamented that New York lost a member of Congress by being 89 residents short with the revised accurate numbers. New York would have lost a second seat had the corrected numbers been available earlier. Considering Republicans need to flip just five seats to retake Congress, each misplaced seat is crucial. So the bottom line is what the census did in its so-called errors, it cost the Republicans five seats. Five. You ever hear of anything like this? You ever hear of anything like this? Now let’s go to Texas. Because things are happening there. With that overlay with that background. Okay, This is from PJ Media. Rick Moran. The Democrats Hypocritical Objections to Texas GOP Redistricting Plan. He says nothing brings out political hypocrisy more than a good old fashioned gerrymander brought. Both sides do it. Both pretend that it’s absolutely the worst thing in the history of the world. And so they want to do the same thing. Now, there’s a Texas sized hullabaloo brewing in the Lone Star State that promises to not only be gigantically impactful politically, but entertaining. Last month President Trump suggested would be really nice of Texas redrew its congressional districts. Give the Republicans in Washington a better shot at holding the House of Representatives in 2026 mid-term elections. Texas Governor Greg Abbott politely obliged and scheduled a special session of the Texas legislature to get that done. Now that session’s going to end on August 19th. A Wednesday, Texas Republicans will unveil a sparkling new congressional map that could give them as many as five more seats in Congress. The US Constitution mandates that maps be redrawn every decade. There’s nothing in the document that says Dixit, cannot be redrawn at any time. It’s highly unusual, yes, but it’s hardly unprecedented. Texas pulled the same gambit in 2003. That year, legendary lawmaker Tom DeLay funded an effort to take advantage of the Texas Republicans first majority in a century to redraw district lines. They crack coalition districts along racial lines, diluting suburban Democrats and packing minorities in a safe Democratic urban seat. Now, that’s the way they put it, which, of course, is very partisan. That 2003 effort saw the Democrats employ a partisan quorum break when 50 Democrats headed for the hills and left the state, they denied the Republicans a quorum to do any business. Remember that, including improving approving the new map. Enraged Republicans passed a new law making it a crime punishable by a fine of $500 a day, an arrest for intentionally avoiding corn. This may upset many of you, but this is the way local and state politics. Are supposed to work. Really? And I have worked for over 200 years. Now Texas Democrats are already fundraising like crazy to get enough money to pay their fines and fight arrests at the time. That’s what they did to people involved in the latest Democratic fundraising strategy sessions. We’re granted an anonymity. Representative Jasmine Crockett, a Dallas Democrat who was part of the 2021 quorum break, sees a power to circumvent the campaign financial rules. And it goes on. Efforts to stop the practice only result in hypocritical politicians from one party decrying the gerrymandering efforts of another. Democratic governors in New York and California, Illinois are all promising to hold their own gerrymandering parties if Texas goes through with its plan to redraw its maps. These Democratic governors have a big problem. They’re huge majorities in the legislature for the last few decades have already gerrymandered their state’s congressional districts about as far as they can go. Practically speaking, they’d have a hard time squeezing any more seats out of another gerrymander. Democrats are complaining about fairness or tradition might want to examine their party’s history redrawing district lines. They’ll see that neither party holds a monopoly on perjury when it comes to that is on virtue when it comes to fiddling with district lines again. He notice radical leftist judges are doing everything they can to hamstring President Trump’s agenda to make America great again. And we’ll see what these judges do in this case. But. They’re proceeding. They could flip as many as five seats. The census. You could see how corrupt that was. And of course, the blue states have already done their damage. In throwing out as many Republicans and Republican seats as possible. There are people like Chris Sununu who are warning, don’t do this, You won’t like it. The problem? The problem, Chris, is they’ve already done it. That’s the problem. And these people don’t play fair. They’re not playing by the rules. So they don’t play fair and they don’t play by rules. And what Governor Abbott, the Republicans in Texas are doing is exactly what needs to be done to them. Then if they want to have some kind of negotiation, fine. But not before. They will do anything to take the midterms and destroy Trump and his presidency. Well, now we need to do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll be right back.

Segment 2
Ladies and gentlemen, I thank the good Lord that Donald Trump is president. I really do. I can only imagine what would be going on in this country if he wasn’t. I can only imagine how the state of Israel would be torn to shreds right now by terrorists, by Marxists, by European quislings. Where evil, diabolical United Nations. Because as it turns out, October 7th was an attack on Israel, not just from Hamas and Iran and Hezbollah and the Houthis, but its attack on Israel now. But European nations that are in decline, that have allowed Islamists to take hold of big chunks of their politics. By elements all over the world, including in our country, who are just thoroughly anti-Semitic. Big chunks of the Democrat Party. The media and academia. Big chunks of the podcasters, the influencers and the isolationists. They’re all out of the closet. They’re not hard to find. They want you to hear what they have to. Donald Trump pushed against all of it. His administration has pushed against all of. I don’t know what will become of this country in Israel after he leaves. I have grave concerns and grave concerns. So Carroll Levitt is asked by an excellent reporter from Channel 14 in Israel who’s based here in the United States. Her name is Libby. And she’s asking. About this Palestinian state issue. I want you to think about this. Hamas refuses to release the hostages. Hamas took hostages, killed, many of them starved, many of them tortured, many of them raped many of them. Hamas is killing its. The civilians in Palestine, the Palestinians, rather, the civilians in in Gaza as it was killing Israelis. Anybody who’s going hungry in Gaza, it’s a result of Hamas preventing them from getting food, 100 tons of food and. Water and medicine have been provided to 2 million people, a hundred tons during the course of this war by the Israelis, the United States and some others, but not many. Hamas has stolen it. Hamas has killed Palestinians who are hungry, who seek to get it. And Hamas knows today. That by killing its own people, the way Stalin killed his own people, the way Mao killed his own people, they will kill their own people and retain their own power. People mean nothing to them. That the West. In other governments that are just thoroughly asymmetric third world governments. We’ll use it as an occasion to try and destroy Israel by creating. A country ten times the size of Gaza. In tiny Israel from which they can launch ballistic missiles, from which they can work with Iran and Qatar. From where they can. They can build nuclear weapons, they could do a thousand things and the isolationists in our country. We’ll be arguing. That’s none of our business. Presidents had about enough of this. Caroline Levitz asked about it today. Here’s what she says. Cut to go on the second question about a Palestinian state. The president expressed his displeasure and his disagreement with the leaders of France, the United Kingdom and Canada. He feels as though that’s rewarding Hamas at a time where Hamas is the true impediment to a cease fire and to the release of all of the hostages. So to your first question, the president wants to see all of the hostages released. He cares deeply about this. He has met with many of the former hostages, many of the families of those who have loved ones who are still being held hostage in Gaza. I have met with them, too. It is absolutely devastating what these poor people have been through. And the president is always thinking about them. And that’s why he’s designated his special envoy, Steve Whitcomb, who’s doing a tremendous job to release the hostages and to end this conflict. But the president has always said the last remaining hostages. Now there are 20 living hostages in Gaza and will always be the hardest because Hamas is unfortunately using these innocent people as bargaining chips. But nevertheless, we are committed to seeing this come to an end, Seeing this come to an end, of course. Karen won’t live. It cuts her ego. And then on Israel-Gaza, there are some reports that negotiations with Hamas might not be continuing. Did you get any updates from Steve Whitcomb on that? I did. Special Envoy Wyckoff is actively talking with our counterparts in Israel about that, and he wants to give some grace to the president so he can fully brief the president on what he’s learning on the ground in both Israel and Gaza. But the president put out a very strong statement on troop social this morning, which I’m sure you saw. And he said the quickest way to end this entire conflict, the humanitarian crisis that we’ve seen and the crisis in Israel, that, of course, started on October 7th when Hamas brutally kidnapped and raped innocent Israelis, that that terrible terrorist attack is for Hamas to surrender, to release all of the hostages and to end this conflict. And that’s what the president wants to see. He’s made that very clear. But the special envoy will be in Gaza tomorrow, as I shared with you previously. Mm hmm. I want to continue on this and I want to make some points. Those of you who are patriotic Americans and you believe in the civil society and you reject these Islamist terrorists, I’m sure you’ll agree with me. But I want to make some additional points. We’ll be right back.

Segment 3
Right now for Mike Love in every red state you point out France, the United Kingdom, Canada have now joined hands to proclaim they will recognize a Palestinian state in September if Israel refuses to surrender to Hamas. That comes despite calls from the United States to release the hostages as a precondition for any negotiations regarding a so-called two state solution. Response Hamas immediately pulled out of talks regarding a cease fire, emboldened by a move that they see as is assuring their survival as the governing authority in Gaza. In other words, Macron just doomed what hostages remain alive in Gaza to almost certain death by giving Hamas this lifeline. Why would the terrorist group negotiate when they know that the Eurotrash are going to give them what they the already they want anyway? All the while, this represents another stab in the back from America’s supposed European allies. Even more stab in the back, of course, to the Jews in Israel. Trump was working to get a deal done in the French. Nuke those efforts for nothing more than back slaps from terrorist supporting governments at the UN. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and now Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney followed quickly. French President Emmanuel Macron’s lead only further scuttling any chance at a hostage deal. The brain right on display is hard to fathom. Rewarding Hamas with a state for the October 7th attacks would represent the biggest capitulation to terrorism in modern history. It would also incentivize further attacks not just to get Israel, but against westernized countries in general. That includes Europe and Canada. Point I’ve been making, which are already dealing with massive influx of Islamism that they seem dead set on trying to appease out of sheer fear and weakness. Unfortunately, none of this is surprising coming from our allies. Who have long spat in the face of American interests, even as we fund their defense and subsidize their welfare states. Europe and Canada, barely half the GDP per capita of the United States because their morally dead, self-destructive societies led by mediocrities who value virtue signaling over all else. One would hope they’d at least know their place and not get in the way of the adults in the room trying to free the hostages and quash terrorism. But Europe and Canada are nothing if not delusional about their stature. For his part, President Trump wasn’t swayed by their attempt at a power move which was meant to paint the United States in a corner. Regarding negotiations, he made a series of public statements making it clear his position hasn’t changed. The fastest way down the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is for Hamas to surrender or release the hostages he posted last night. You’re rewarding terrorists, he said. Trump went further by telling Canada it just made a grave mistake regarding any possible trade deal. While Canada has just announced, says Trump, that it’s backing statehood for Palestinians, that would make it very hard for us to make a trade deal with them. Oh, Canada would trade deals already complete with the EU, South Korea, Japan and others. Canada’s finding itself isolated in its battle against the United States. Perhaps it should worry less about saving Hamas, more about its own economic well-being. Meanwhile, 17 Arab League nations. You’re not going to believe them, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have laid down the marker that Hamas must disarm and leave Gaza before any talk of statehood for the region. There should never be any talk of statehood anyway. In a moment, I’ll explain why. In other words, Muslim countries are now more practical sense of moral clarity than America’s so-called allies in Europe and Canada. Ultimately, their weakness will cost them their sovereignty because Islamism doesn’t assimilate. It’s only goal is to conquer 100%. There can never be a so-called two state solution. Israel cannot give up another inch of land. It doesn’t have enough land to give. That’s number one. Number two. In the past when it’s done, it has got them absolutely nothing. Number three. I want to get into this number three, because it’s very important. You can’t just declare a state like these buffoons are. It doesn’t work that way. This is something I was going to talk about on my own. But over in the United Kingdom reports the despicable Hamas loving BBC. Nonetheless, lawyers warn Starmer, the UK. Prime minister there recognizing a Palestinian state could break the law. And I’d researched this last night. I had it all ready to go, but I’m going to read it from this article because it does a pretty good job. Some of Britain’s most distinguished lawyers have warned the government that recognizing a Palestinian state would breach international law. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer announced the UK would move towards recognizing unless Israel met certain conditions. The day later Canada announced, as you know. Also move towards recognition at a UN summit in September. And by the way, that summit is headed by Qatar. 147 of the UN’s 193 member states already formally recognize a Palestinian state. You believe that. However, opponents argue Palestine does not meet the legal requirements for statehood under the international law because important criteria have not been met. The Montevideo Convention sets out the criteria for the recognition of a state under international laws define territory, a permanent population, an effective government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states. A group of 43 peers, including some of the UK’s most eminent lawyers, has set out their belief that Kiir’s pledge would be in breach of international laws. The territory may not meet these criteria for statehood. In a letter to the government’s attorney general, first reported by the Times, they called for him to advise the Prime Minister against recognition. They said it is clear that there is no certainty over the over the borders of Palestine. They argue that also that there is no functioning single government, Fatah and Hamas being enemies. They said the former has failed to hold elections for decades. The latter is a terrorist organization, neither of which can enter into relations with other states, and they warn that it would be unwise to depart from the convention signed in 1933 at a time when international law is seen as fragile, they added. You have said that a selective pick and mix approach to international law will lead to its disintegration, and that criteria set out in international law should not be manipulated for reasons of public expedience. Accordingly, they wrote to him, We expect you to demonstrate this commitment by explaining to the public and to the government that recognition of a Palestinian state would be contrary to the principles governing recognition of states and international law. Now the BBC obtained a full list of signatories, which includes the prominent barrister, Lord Panik, who represented the previous government at the Supreme Court over its Rwanda scheme, as well as lawyers. Some of Parliament’s most prominent Jewish voices, including cross-bench peer Baroness Dietsch, Labour’s Lord Winston and the conservative Baroness Altmann, have also put their name on the letter. The piers, The lawyers intervention follows condemnation. The Prime Minister’s announcement by Emily Demery, a British rally woman who was held captive. She was a hostage by Hamas for more than a year who said the prime minister is not standing on the right side of history. Prime Minister Netanyahu also claimed it rewards Hamas monstrous terrorism. Responding to fears the decision to recognize a Palestinian state does not align with the international law. Business Minister Gareth Thomas told Times Radio, We haven’t signed up to the Montevideo Convention, but is there a clear population in Palestine? Yes, there is in Gaza and the West Bank. We have made clear that we think you would recognize the state of Palestine and that state of Palestine would be based on the 1967 borders, 1967 borders. Which means that Israel would have to give up 35% of its country. That means that Israel will be utterly indefensible from missiles, from jets. From infantry. That means that from the western part of Israel to the eastern part of Ms.. Israel, Mr. Producer would be seven miles. Seven miles. That’s the British plan. That’s the new state. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said his country plans to recognize a Palestinian state as part of a two state solution. Israel and Palestine living side by side. Ladies and gentlemen, these dumb bastards who gave us Marxism, who gave us the Third Reich. They’re selling out the West. They’re selling out our values. Let me ask you a question. How many Jews are left in the Arab states? Almost none. Let me ask you another question. How many Christians are left in the Arab states? Almost none. The greatest population. I think Coptic Christians in Egypt and they are terrorized, they are brutalized. They are discriminated against. The Christians were being wiped out in Syria. Nobody lifted a finger but the Israelis. The most vibrant Christian population is in Israel. The Christians have been pushed out of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. So what happens here? The first religion in the Holy Land was Judaism. The second religion was Christianity. They grew out of Judaism by far the third religion, six, 700 years after Christianity. His Islam. But you wouldn’t know it. Look at the Middle East. But there’s no place for the Palestinians because they don’t want them. So we’re going to carve up Israel, whether they like it or not. We’re going to take their indigenous lands, whether they like it or not, including their holy sites, whether they like it or not. We’re going to move their people out, whether they like it or not. 4500 years of history are none. In order to put a terrorist state. In its midst. They destroy it. That’s their solution, which is a final solution. That’s their solution. Incredible, isn’t it? October seven, 2023. Did you believe that less than two years later, this is where we would be? The Democrat Party in America agrees with them. Agrees with them. At colleges and universities for the most part, agree with them. Our media certainly agrees with them. We have these influencers, these frauds, phonies and fraud and things. Who need eyes and clicks and hits and whatever they are. Supporting this, pushing their anti Semitism. Their Jew hatred. For what? For the Islamists who want to destroy the West, who hit us on 911. People are more than sick. They’re evil. And yet they become millionaires sitting on their fat asses preaching a you and me. And we’re going to keep going to war with these people. No cease fire. No surrender? No. I mean, hear me on the radio. And like minded conservatives and patriots and constitutionalists aren’t conservative Talk radio. Speak out. Stand up. On cable TV to speak up. Stand up. And you. The American people. You don’t have to put up with this either. None of it. President Trump has shown us the way. His administration has shown us the way they are fighting bravely, courageously. In our own culture, in our own society, pushing back in Congress against the Democrats, pushing back. In the U.N. pushing back and Europe pushing back in the Middle East pushing back. The least we can do is speak out, too, and push back. I’ll be right back.

Segment 4
But we have a great Life, Liberty and Levin this Saturday and next Saturday and next Sunday. That is this Saturday and Sunday. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, first appearance since he’s been ambassador first appearance in many years. He’ll be on Life, Liberty and Levin and our buddy Ben Domenech. And I’m on fire. I mean, I have a great monologue. And Sunday we have the great senator, Tom Cotton. And Marc Thiessen to killer shirt. Folks, I want to thank you. Those of you who are purchasing on power, we’re number two on the overall Amazon list. Number one non-fiction. Who knows what the New York Times will do? The first week is crucially important. And those of you who are acquiring the book, I want to personally thank you. And I want also thank you because, you know, at times like this, a lot of people, they’ve heard enough. They don’t want to hear anymore. But, you know, it’s it’s a nerve. What am I going to read that I don’t know already? And but you’re not that way in this audience. You’re hungry for information and you enjoy getting information. You enjoy sharing it, whether it’s at the breakfast table or the dinner table. The family with friends. You want to have these discussions. You know, you don’t just sit back and watch. Not in this audience. You know, just sit back and leave it to others to figure things out. You want in, you know, life is short. You’ve got children and grandchildren and you want to pass information on to them. So they are intellectually armed to defend themselves one day when you’re not around. And if you’re a young person, I know you’re surrounded by by radical leftist Marxist Islamists. You wondered to yourself, Gee, am I the only person who thinks the way my parents and I think you’re not. But this book on power is going to help you all. It’s going to help all of you. You should look at the book reviews I’ve been posting them. The interviews I’ve been doing have been posting them, too, just so you can have a flavor for it. And those of you who haven’t jumped in yet can get a real sense for what we’re doing here. What we’re doing here is leading another movement. Another movement. What we’re doing here is expanding our thought processes. And while we’re expanding them, it helps us also to laser focus on what’s important. We’re not about repetition, not about looping ideas over and over again. This book on power is different. It’s different than anything I’ve ever written. I’ve had a couple professors provide you with reviews that I’ve posted. A couple of journalists provide you with reviews that I’ve posted, historian Greg Schilling I’ve posted and others. And our friend today, Tim Graham over at Media Research Center, have posted that as well. And I’ve given you a little taste here in there. Like a food bar. It’s a wine bar, I guess. So you can get a feel for yourself. And I have the same hosts that I’ve talked to in radio, many of whom have read the book when they interview me and hosts that I’ve talked to at Fox, they’ve all read the book. They really. They really are impressed with the content in the book is so fulsome that some of them just aren’t sure where to begin to interview me, which is totally understandable. So you’re going to love this book. I know you are, for all the reasons I said. You go to Amazon.com right now, many tens of thousands of people have and get it at a discount to have it delivered to you tomorrow. Barnes Noble, Walmart, all these stores have the book now and I would encourage you to get it as soon as possible. Why wait? And it’s under $20. It really is a good value. The publisher priced it well and now Walmart’s cut it by 27%. All the retailers have. It’s just fantastic. And I want to thank them all. And I want to thank you. I’ll be right back.
