I want to read something to you briefly: Western societies and governments do not seem to comprehend or wish to deceive themselves into ignoring, rationalizing or excusing that dire peril Islamism represents, despite multiple acts of terrorism committed against them and threats of more and worse to come. Islamism, not Muslims, per se. In some cases, Western governments hope to avoid the consequences of Islamist ideology for appeasement, negotiation or financial arrangements.
