Just like their human counterparts, the K9’s risk their lives every day to protect and serve. Every year, the National Dog Foundation honors the K9’s around the country who have given the ultimate sacrifice. But that’s not all they do. For the past two decades, this wonderful non-profit has helped police departments around the nation purchase and train new K9 officers, and also pay for veterinary expenses.
