We’ll start with newly elected house minority leader Hakeem Jeffries. Jeffries’ uncle is Leonard Jeffries—a Louis Farrakhan devotee and known anti-Semite. Hakeem has said in the past, “I am close to my uncle, but I disagree with his theories.” What in the world does that mean? Would you remain close to a family member who is overly racist and antisemitic? Mark wouldn’t.
