On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, Ben Shapiro, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Wire fills in for Mark. Every day we hear more and more about someone from Hollywood or in politics who has been accused or committed sexual harassment. This is the culture that the left built since the sexual revolution and they are shocked when that revolution has casualties. When you remove fences around human nature, human nature runs wild. We as a society used to have standards of behavior and the left has destroyed decent behavior among men. In addition, it is tempting to say we are finally waking up to the problem of sexual harassment but that is not true. People are just piling on right now, but as soon as we see that the price is too high, we back off. For example, Glenn Thrush is already too valuable for the New York Times to dump him. He was suspended and issued an apology, but is management going to do anything substantive? This is the same Times that attacked Roy Moore. Later, just because Roy Moore denies allegations of sexual harassment does not mean that he did not do it. This may be a political hit, but Moore’s defense is weak. To add, two more women have come forward, accusing Al Franken of groping them. Democrats like Mazie Hirono are saying let’s give him another chance. All the Democrats care about is throwing someone over board when they are no longer of use to them like John Conyers. If any more accusers come forward and Democrats decide to go after Franken it is because his position is untenable and he is no longer of use to them. Finally, LaVar Ball is not thankful for President Trump freeing his son from custody in China, and Trump responded. Trump should start talking about things that matter more, like tax reform and the border wall.
