On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, President Trump’s State of the Union address was outstanding and Reaganesque overall, despite some substantive disagreements with the president’s espoused approaches to immigration, infrastructure, and paid family leave. But despite the uplifting, bipartisan tone of the address, House and Senate Democrats presented Trump with a united front of hate that’s about far more than their dislike for the president himself. It’s clear that they hate much of what he was saying, and much of what he was saying was quintessentially American. And to understand where that deeper hatred comes from, you have to understand exactly where their ideology really comes from, Friedrich Hegel, who was called the philosophical founder of the American progressive movement. After that, we the American citizen are dreamers too. The left trashes the American citizen and portrays illegal aliens and illegal children as more noble than American citizens and American children. The fact is that the progressives by hook or crook have to reject Americanization, and assimilation. They have found that the quickest way to accomplish their ends is through immigration, by changing the voting and by telling us we are inferior to people who come here illegally.
