On Monday’s Mark Levin show, How many news articles in the media were written about Barack Obama’s violations of the Constitution? Obama had a working document through the FEC where the government wanted to start dictating to news rooms, but thankfully it was defeated. Where was the media and news stories on dictatorships and tyranny or when Obama attacked Fox news and talk radio? The old media in this country including television and newspapers has a mixed history. Let’s not pretend they are objective and nonpartisan because they are not. It’s hard to find conservative reporters as it is natural for the media to be more liberal. After that, there are occasions where the media can be very evil. All one has to do is look at the New York Times coverage of the Holocaust during and leading up to World War II. No leading story of the Jewish plight would ever made it to the front page of the Times during the World War II period. The Times failure to cover the Holocaust by placement of stories on the back pages of its newspaper and by omission was the enemy of all people who read it. The media is distrusted for a reason. Many of them are dishonest about how they cover and censor news. Later, John McCain has done more to destroy free speech than President Donald Trump ever could. He is not the only war hero. There are other war heroes who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. They deserve our respect and the respect of fellow Americans. After that, Republicans have done nothing on Obamacare, slashing taxes or building the wall. The time to act is early, right after the election. Glenn Greenwald understands that the Republicans are one statehouse away from convening a Convention of States. If Greenwald, a leftist, can recognize it, how come some conservatives and Republicans cannot see the importance of or support Article V? There are RINO’s and pseudo conservatives that love to talk about the Constitution yet when it comes time to do something about it, they won’t.
