Washington Post: Talking Truth to CPAC
I’m tired of stand-for-nothing, unprincipled, putative Republicans who’ve done nothing for conservatism but trash it and misrepresent it, lecturing us from their basements. Jennifer Rubin knows nothing about Russell Kirk or Edmund Burke. She knows nothing about Locke or Montesquieu. She knows nothing of Madison, Jefferson, or Adams. She’s your typical big mouth know-nothing RINO who found her way from LA to DC and spews her idiocy in the pages of the Washington Post. CPAC is not a cafe where all politicians and views are on display. It was founded 40 years ago to challenge and defeat establishment Republicans. It was founded to give voice and support to full throated conservatives. It was founded to elect unabashed conservatives. It was home to Ronald Reagan not Gerald Ford. Rubin is exactly the kind of knucklehead CPAC was organized against.
Attention knuckleheads! Chris Christie never opposed Obamacare, never signed the brief challenging Obamacare, and is one of only 8 GOP governors to now embrace Obamacare. Obamacare is the most pernicious federal law in our lifetime. If this doesn’t disqualify as a conservative anti-GOP establishment speaker at CPAC then who does? There are already enough RINOs at CPAC. Rubin should be thrilled about that.
