“I guess we can call this the 9/11 week in 25 years. It went by very, very quickly. Our response to what took place on 9/11, other than building all the counterterrorism infrastructure, which was good and smart, otherwise it has been an abomination. And what I mean by that is the open borders. Up until now, this President has slammed them shut, ushering people into this country who want to destroy us from the same parts of the world that many of the hijackers came from — no real vetting and no real way to remove them once they’re here — and they make their intentions known. It’s shocking to me. This country cannot survive this unless we get together and figure out what to do about it and we better do it fast because I don’t even think we have 10 years to resolve this. We need to resolve it now.”
