Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin here. Our number 877-381-3811.  877-381-3811. I normally wouldn’t start with this, but. The Associated Press. Tiger Woods arrested at crash scene on suspicion of DUI, Sheriff says. Jupiter Island, Florida, Tiger Woods showed signs of impairment, was arrested at the scene of a car crash in which he struck another vehicle and rolled his Land Rover. Authorities said, no, I’m familiar with this road. It’s a two lane road. It’s relatively narrow, but still. It’s 30 miles an hour maximum, Mr. Produce. Kind of hard to roll your car unless you clip another one. I mean, I feel bad for this guy in the sense that he obviously has an addiction issue and he hasn’t gotten over it. Barton County Sheriff John Boutin said Woods and the person in the other vehicle were not injured. Woods was able to crawl out of the passenger side of his Land Rover. The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. right in the middle of the afternoon, not far from where Woods lives on Jupiter Island. But then Zajac said Woods attempted to pass a pressure cleaner truck while driving on a two lane road. He swerved to avoid a collision as he was passing the truck but clipped the back end of the truck’s trailer. Woods, His vehicle then rolled onto its driver’s side. I mean, he could have killed himself, no question. But then Zach said investigators at the scene found Woods to be showing signs of impairment. He did a breathalyzer test, which came out negative, but he refused to take a urine test. Authorities charged him with driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Both charges are misdemeanors. So if the breathalyzer comes out negative, doesn’t that mean it didn’t show that he had gone over the limit? Mr. Peterson? Isn’t that what that means? So he wouldn’t give them urine. And in any event, Woods has played 11 year whatever. He was arrested in 2017 on DUI charges when South Florida police found him asleep behind the wheel of his car that was parked awkwardly with damage to the driver’s side. Woods said he had taken a bad mix of painkillers. He later pleaded guilty to reckless driving. He almost killed himself that time. I think that was. It was at the time before in California, Woods won his fifth Masters. The 15th major in 2019 is 82 wins on the PGA Tour, tied for the all time record with Sam Snead. It’s too bad if he had been healthy, would have far exceeded, and I’m sure Woods is 50. Q I remember when he was like 19. He had been working his way back to golf from May 7th back surgery in September, which is horrible. Although his back surgery, his last official tournament, was the British Open in 2024. And that’s a tough course. We ruptured his Achilles tendon in March 2025, and that kept him off the course all season. And I tell you, somebody who’s torn attendent 100%. Above my right knee. The Achilles heel. That’s. That’s hell to pay to see all the back surgeries, the Achilles heel, the addiction issue. Louie, you. And it is in good shape, physically good shape, physically. So if that’s too bad. Let’s see here. Friendless, friendless. Tiger Woods leaned on ex his ex-wife following a horrifying 2021 car accident. That’s that accident, I think, was in California as he tried to mend his body before crashing the vehicle again. And they go on and on. And of course, the media loves that stuff. They can’t control themselves. The media loves this stuff. They’ll run with it for 15 days. I just reported it to you and I’m done. Unless there’s something else that. That pops. But I think that’s enough. And we wish everybody the best, I guess. I know exactly where that took place. It’s very lucky it wasn’t worse because it could have been cars behind them or in front of them with no way of to escape, no way out. And that obviously would be a massive disaster. Marco Rubio was in France today with reporters on the airport tarmac. Cut. Cut one. Excuse me. Cut, one. Go. The Iranian people are phenomenal people. They deserve way better than what they have, which is a radical Shia cleric or regime that has basically taken that country’s wealth and used it not to build roads and bridges, not to build health care systems at universities, not to build a better, more prosperous country. They’ve used the wealth of that country to sponsor terrorism, build rockets, build drones, build missiles, build sea mines. That’s what they’ve done with it and try to kill people all over the world. And this has to be dealt with. That country was a threat for 47 years. That regime has been trying to kill and has been killing Americans all over the world for 47 years. We have a president that was not going to allow that to continue unfettered. So when we are done, Iran was already weak. When we are done with them here in the next couple of weeks, they will be weaker than they’ve been in recent history and they will not be able to hide behind those weapons to break out and get a nuclear weapon, which would be. Crazy for these people to ever get nuclear weapons would be crazy. Look what they’re willing to do with the weapons they have now. They hit embassies. They target hotels. They try to kill civilians. They splash out at all their neighbors. Imagine if these radical lunatics had a nuclear weapon to threaten the world when he’s so articulate and he’s so right, isn’t he? I think it’s so right on. I don’t understand all this resistance to what’s going on here, other than it’s political or ideological or whatever it is. It’s not common sense in any respect to go. Accusing the US. Let me stop that for a second. So he’s asking about the Iranian foreign minister who said at the UN Human Rights Council that the United States and Israel are committing acts of genocide. Can you imagine? They sound like. Tucker Carlson. Go ahead. The Iranian women. Okay. Well, he’s an expert in genocide. They’re experts in the. Because, you know, they sponsor terrorism all over the world. And they’ve killed. Thousands. Look at the Middle East. Look at the Middle East, guys. Every problem in the Middle East tracks back to Iran, Hezbollah, Iran, Shia militias that are destroying and threatening Iraq. Iran. Hamas. Iran. The Houthis. Iran. Assad when he was in Syria. Iran. The only kind of the way. Everywhere you turn, they’re behind all of it. They are a destabilizing, dangerous. Evil force had to be dealt with to have to be weakened or again, it’s this not so obvious. The answer is yes, it is obvious. Two great shows this weekend. I was sent an article by a very dear friend. You would know who it is. A faithful Christian. You might even call them a Christian Zionist. Just a great, great guy was one of the greatest is one of the greatest columnists out there. One of the largest. I haven’t had a chance to read it, Mr. Producer. So I’m going to read it on the air as I have received it. It’s from The Washington Post. It’s called the UN Religious Religiosity of Christian Identity Politics. You’re reading Awakenings, a newsletter on religion. Goes on anyway. James Fishback Now this guy is a jackass and he’s a nut. He’s a different kind of Republican candidate in appearances across the state of Florida, where he’s seeking the Republican nomination for governor. He fluently uses Gen-z slang and leans into a memorable form of religiosity. At a recent event, Fishback, a Catholic, stood before a cheering crowd of young men as he kissed an icon of Christ the bridegroom. I will never kiss the wall, he said, referring to the Western Wall in Jerusalem, one of Judaism’s holiest sites. But I will kiss our Lord and Savior. It’s hard to imagine a member of the Moral Majority in the religious right doing the same thing. But Fishback distinguishes himself from conventional politicians by asserting his Christianity in Baroque and confrontational terms does not just invoke Christian themes. He draws a line between Christians and non-Christians, as in his comment about the Western Wall. Fish backs. Religious rhetoric is part of an emerging form. Stick with me. We’ll discuss. We’ll discuss it after I read an emerging form of Christian identity politics. Like a number of prominent influencers, he interlaced. This is nothing prominent about this lowlife, by the way. He analyzes elaborate expressions of Christian piety with criticisms of Jewish supporters of Israel. Many of these influencers are trad cats, that is, Catholics drawn to the traditional Latin mass and alienated from the church hierarchy. They’re creating a religious right distinct from the one that is once led by evangelicals. Candace Owens, for example, attends the Latin Mass and spins her anti-establishment and anti-Jewish fantasies while sitting in front of an army crucifix and Gothic reliquary containing a stone associated with the cult of Saint Michael of Congo. She recently said she’s not yet been confirmed in the Catholic faith with which she publicly identifies. I notice a lot of these individuals. Ah. They haven’t been Catholics, and they’re new to Catholicism. Megyn Kelly, another Catholic, has likewise grown more demonstrative in her piety as she has grown more critical of pro-Israel Jewish commentators such. Ben SHAPIRO and Mark Levine. In December, she announced to the world that she was about to pray the rosary. Like virtually all Christians do, about half of Christians are non-Catholic. The political cath spot. If I mispronounce it, I apology. The political cath spoliation has turned. Fishback a financier with a history of legal and money problems into a rising star of the online right. His opponent, Byron Donalds, is favored to win the August primary, but a February poll found Fishback drawing support from 32% of Republican voters age 18 to 34, compared with just 8% for Donalds. With millions of TikTok views and a young and enthusiastic following, Fishback is poised to thrive as an anti-establishment influence. These people are sick. They demean Catholicism and Christianity generally. They demean Judaism. They are sick. Far from being a sign of resurgent faith, Christian identity politics is a symptom of religious decline. By the way, I don’t agree with that. So this will be used to smear all Christians, right? As one observer has noted, the fact that Americans are growing more secular and less religiously literate has made religion more salient as a marker of political difference, even as invocations of it become less informed. This irony was already evident during Donald Trump’s first presidential campaign in term in his uneasy idiomatic citation of two Corinthians. Most Christians would say second Corinthians and his decision to hold up a Bible in response to public disorder in 2020. When a reporter asked, Is that your Bible? Trump memorably replied, It’s a Bible. What does that have to do with anything, Mr. Producer? You’re talking about this guy Fishback, who is a bigot, who is a racist, who is a Jew hater, who trashes Christians. What does that have to do with Donald Trump? But they always have to drag that stuff in. But the new Christian identity politics and I don’t believe this is right, differs from Trump’s fairly conventional civic religion. Fishback kisses an icon rather than the lifting of a Bible. He punctuates his remarks not by saying God bless America, by proclaiming Christ as King. Like Owens and Kelly, he seems to prefer distinctive and striking expressions of belief to the familiar and reassuring. It isn’t a coincidence that all these figures have thrived on video based platforms in the lets see. In the age of social media, virtual media incentivizes more striking and extreme displays of religious identity. I think most of these people are religious frauds, ladies and gentlemen. I see so-called Jews promoting Nazi ism in the Third Reich. Is that a new fad? No, not in the least. I see these people doing what they’re doing. Many of them are recent converts or so-called converts to Christianity or Catholicism. I have a ton of Christian friends, Catholic friends. They don’t bind any of this stuff. In fact, neither does. Neither does Rome. One of the leading clerics put out a video condemning these people. In 1970s, the media theorist Marshall McClellan remarked on how people had come to look down on religious figures who tried to blend it in by wearing everyday clothing. The plain clothed priest or the plain clothed nanny said. Study said young people wanted massive costumes and vestments. The kind of thing traditional Catholicism specializes in because they they prized the far out and very conventional. Something similar is true today, holding up rosaries at rallies and kissing icons on the campaign trail as a form of religious expression optimized for a culture based on images rather than text. As Americans spend less time reading and feel less reverence for the written word, the Bible will lose ground to non textual expressions of faith. I agree with that. It’s a big problem. And it’s not just a problem in faith of faith. It’s a problem, in fact, like American history. So I agree that that’s taking place. There’s no question about it. These people are nut jobs for using faith. I don’t even believe they have much faith. I’ll be right back.

Consistent with that article I was reading to you about these true American hating, Jew hating, Christian, Zionist hating, phony religious people. They sound like a lot of these radical Islamists, don’t they, Mr. Producer? That’s what they sound like to me. And I suspect that’s why they endorsed them. Like Tucker Carlson, some of the others. I suspect that’s why they hate traditional Christians and Catholics and Jews and so forth. And yet a very sympathetic gov, if not supportive of. Islamists and Sharia law in the most fundamentalist form. There is in fact a in overlap. In the mentality. It’s not live and let live. It’s somebody has a different faith than I do and practice as you will. I hope you believe in God or anything like that. No, no, no. It’s my way or the highway and their way is not necessarily even the way of their faith that they claim that they claim to adopt. It’s very problematic. So this guy’s running for the Republican nomination for governor of Florida. I’m going to tell you something, folks. These people are going to destroy the Republican Party and they’re going to destroy the midterm elections and they’re going to hand it all over to the Democrats and they can say, I’m going to vote Republican, I’m going to be Republican. I heard that Megyn Kelly said that. But they are doing more to undermine MAGA, to undermine the president, and I think to undermine conservatism than anything else. Than anything else. So some of them are just trying to cover their ass, but some of them have said so blatantly, openly that that’s their goal. This guy for Winters made it clear he told everybody, Vote Democrat, don’t vote Republican. Now. He’s doing that. To be provocative. He’s doing that. To draw more attention to himself. He’s neither Republican or Democrat. It’s just a crackpot. But this has an impact that it confuses people who aren’t really paying attention to politics. The media don’t help, of course, because they’re promoting the narrative. They’re promoting the narrative. Very horrendous narrative, for that matter. People running as Republicans like this. The Democrat Party is already gone. It’s already gone. But the the thing is, that is their kook base. That’s not our base. That’s not you and me. We don’t believe in this at all. So what happened in the Senate at 230 this morning was really quite appalling. The Republicans and the Democrats 99 to 0. I think that is nobody objected. And they could have, but they didn’t. Even the ones who are whining and complaining. They decided, here’s what we’ll do. We will fund TSA and the Coast Guard in the rest. But we will not fund all of ICE and the Border Patrol, including that part of ICE that is funded to find all these missing unaccompanied children, by the way. So we’re not going to fully fund ICE. We’re going to effectively cripple ice. And we’ll deal with that separately. So let’s break that out from DHS. Even though there’s one of 12 appropriations bills, one of 12 DHS is and one of them they’re saying, well, let’s break that out, which they’ve never done since the beginning of DHS after 911. Let’s break that app, ICE and Border Patrol. We’ll vote on that separately. Now you know what they intend to do. They don’t believe in borders, They don’t believe in sovereignty. They don’t believe in American citizenship. So soon says, okay, we’ll do that. And then they leave town for two weeks. Not a single Republican objected in the Senate. Not a single Democrat objected in the Senate in the way the early reporting was. There’s a deal that’s been made, and none of the demands that the Democrats have put on ice are part of the deal. And you go, wow, that’s pretty good how that happened. Well, it’s not pretty good because that part of ice that apparently wasn’t funded, as I just found out, won’t be funded. That’s a separate fight. And so you know what they’ll do? So they gave in to the blackmail. So rather than TSA employees not getting paid now, a whole bunch of ICE and Border Patrol personnel won’t get paid. Now, as you know from this perch, I’ve been pounding away and pounding away at the outrageousness of this that TSA and. Coast Guard and the rest aren’t being paid. These are working Americans. These are heroes. And they don’t earn a lot. On average 50 grand a year, an entry level 35. And they’re losing their homes. They can’t pay their credit cards. Their finances are going to hell. It’s the Democrats who created this. It’s the Democrats who are blackmailing the American people. And you shouldn’t use law enforcement this way. TSA is law enforcement. ICE and Border Patrol. That’s law enforcement. Coast Guard is law enforcement and military. Secret Service. Law enforcement protection theme, of course, is very important. So they went for areas of the government. Were you really do feel like a shutdown or that is a defunding and they defunded them. In the middle of a war. And so the Republicans in the Senate, particularly the leadership, buckled. The speaker of the House did not buckle. The speaker of the House. Mike Johnson stood his ground. Cut seven. Mr. Producer, go. The Republicans are not going to be any part of any effort to reopen our borders or to stop immigration enforcement. We are going to deport dangerous criminal illegal aliens because it is a basic function of the government. The Democrats fundamentally disagree. The Senate Democrats have foisted upon this appropriations process their radical, crazy agenda. We call it crazy because that’s what it is. They want to reopen the borders and they want to stop the deportation of dangerous criminal illegal aliens. We have to do these basic functions of government. We have to fund them in order to do them. In the last several days, we have recent examples of dangerous criminals in this country killing innocent Americans. We had an 18 year old college student in Chicago, a young lady who was shot in the back by a dangerous criminal who had been released in that sanctuary city and first released at the border under Joe Biden. They open the border wide for four years, just yesterday or in the last 36 hours or so, an 83 year old man is pushed onto the subway tracks and run over by a dangerous criminal illegal alien. This has to stop. The Republicans are not going to be a party to this. They have taken hostage the funding processes of government so that they can impose their radical agenda on the American people, and we can’t have any part of it. Now, that’s fighting and a fighter that needs to fight on these issues. He’s exactly right. Meanwhile, the president has signed an executive order and he’s directed the Office of Management and Budget, OMB. To pay TSA. Anyway, that’s legal. And OMB correctly has said we’ve got to find funds that have some connection to security. Some connection to safety, some connection to air flight. Any of those. And he said, we’re going to find it. So lawsuits will be brought. They’ll claim that it’s not an emergency. But if this is an emergency, I don’t know what is. And so you’re going to have litigants who are going to try and stop the president from funding the TSA. But he stepped in and he said, I’m going to have to deal with this in an unusual way, but a way. That needs to be dealt with. Is a remarkable man. Our president, ladies and gentlemen. And you’ll notice he’s the one standing up. He’s the one that’s standing up for people who have average wages. He’s the one standing up for union members. And the Democrats are not because the Democrats are standing up now for illegal aliens. That’s where they see their strength. Not in unions, not in working men and women. They’ve abandoned you. They’ve abandoned you. All of you. Whether you’re a plumber or an electrician, whether you’re in construction in other ways. Whether you’re a cop or a firefighter and other forms of law enforcement and public safety, it doesn’t matter. They’ve abandoned you. And they see what they view as a big honeypot of illegal aliens that they brought into this country. 20 million strong. And I bet you the Supreme Court hands them that birthright citizenship decision. I’m not predicting, but I’m saying it’s just. I’m very concerned about it. And let me add this. If they do the right thing. It would be spectacular. They’ll have my praise. No question about it. And they should do the right thing. What does the text of the Constitution say about birthright citizenship? America? Nothing. It’s not in there. What’s federal statutes say about birthright citizenship? America? Nothing. It’s not in there either. It’s nowhere. It was concocted. It was manufactured. By the bureaucracy. Congress never voted on it. The framers of the Constitution ever put it in there. And that’s why we look at the history surrounding the 14th Amendment. That’s why we look at the history surrounding the civil rights amendments before or I should say, civil rights statutes before. The 14th Amendment. That’s why we look at that. And you won’t find any support for it whatsoever? None. So you have basically emotional arguments. And other kinds of arguments, plays on logic and so forth. But you won’t have a constitutional basis unless one is manufactured. And so the Democrats will go nuts if the court does the right thing. And we will support the court 100% if it does the right thing. Otherwise, it’ll be condemned by people who know better us. But that’s the play. That’s the play. The play is to take as many congressional seats as they can because they count illegal aliens, legal aliens, not just citizens. So they pulled 20 million people into this country. That’s the plan, the Electoral College. If they can’t get just the popular vote. And they they want to control the Electoral College. Remember, it’s the number of congressional seats, plus the two Senate seats. And that’s how many votes each state has. So if you’re pumping up the congressional seats, Russell, pumping up your Electoral College seats. And they have every intention of adding Puerto Rico and DC as states. There would be four more Democrats, Senators, Republicans. I’ll never get a majority. Now very attention to changing the voting system to make it similar to. You know, New York now New York City. They’re California. They’re. There’s a massive push. For one party, control this country to turn it into a California like government and New York City like government. A massive push that’s underway. I’ve talked about this. I’ve seen it coming and it’s coming. I’ll be right back.

If you were to accept what the Senate to pass, this could end tonight and the TSA lines would shrink? I wouldn’t call John Thune the engineer of this. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats in the Senate. How did this Chuck Schumer and the Democrats in the Senate have forced this upon the Senate? I have to protect the House. Let me answer the question, Chad. I had to protect the House and I had to protect the American people. That’s our responsibility. Our colleagues on this side understand this is not a game. We are not playing their games. These people want open borders and they want criminal illegal aliens in the country. They do not want to enforce the law. They want to literally defund you. Just read it in the in the bill here. They want to give $0 to enforcing federal immigration laws and keeping the border secure. That was the biggest issue in the election of 2024, the wide open border that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris hoisted upon the country. And 20 million, by some estimates, 20 million dangerous criminal illegal aliens. Included in that number came over the border. We have terrorists in our country. We have obviously murderers. They’re putting it on display. And in these big blue cities that have sanctuary city policies, they’re releasing these people onto the streets. They released them over the border when they came over under the Biden years. And that is the turmoil that we’re facing right now, the very serious threats to the homeland. And everybody. It’s not just long lines at the airport. It is the danger and safety of everyone’s home. Very well put. I’ve never seen him so angry. Now, that’s angry for Mike Johnson. He’s a very calm, nice, temperate man. He really is. But he’s had enough. And I don’t blame him. The president, United States. He understands what the Democrats are doing. He said last night I played it for he said, the Democrats hate America. They hate the people. This is why they do what they do. I wrote an entire book on it. The Democrat Party hates America. Apparently, it was too hard for retail bookstores, but that’s okay. It’s okay because it’s true. It’s true they conduct themselves this way for a reason. They conduct themselves this way for a reason. If they loved America, they wouldn’t do this, would they? No, they wouldn’t. But they are. And the Democrat, the people who vote Democrat appear to just keep doing it and they’re worried about it. That’s why they’re importing what they hope will be New Democrats amnesty through the back door. They want to destroy ICE. Listen to me. As a way of getting amnesty through the back door because we won’t be able to deport these people. They will stay. And in ten or 20 years, they’ll do like they did with Barca. While they’re here, they’ve got families, they’ve contributed a community, and after all, they’re picking lettuce. Really? Where are they picking lettuce? I’ll be right back.
