On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, in Chapter 1 of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto it emphasizes that the conservative commitment to ordered liberty is rooted in the Founders’ principles, such as the social contract and civil society, which foster harmony of interests through accumulated human experience and reasoning for the betterment of individuals and society. There are so-called podcasters on the right who reject this. We can’t allow the Tucker Carlson’s or Megyn Kelly’s to hand America to the left. We need to hold firm to our principles, understanding of the American founding, and decades of discussed values, without falling into traps set by these detractors. Also, a federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia suggested she might dismiss charges against James Comey for lying to Congress and Letitia James for bank fraud, citing skepticism over the legitimacy of interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan’s appointment by AG Pam Bondi. Bondi has full authority to appoint anyone who meets the U.S. attorney qualifications. This is pathetic, the left has destroyed our judicial system. Later, the Democrats are potentially poised for another government shutdown opportunity in January, targeting airline services, TSA, FAA, and military funding to inflict pain on Americans again. These routine continuing resolutions might become quarterly battles because of the Democrats.

Hello America. Mark Levin here. Our number 877-381-3811. 877-381-3811. Well, we’re going to have some fun here and do something that really we only do on this show from time to time are actually more than time to time. We do it often and we’ll get to the other stuff. The other stuff has probably been chewed over pretty good by other hosts. I’m just guessing and I’ve gone through the news pretty thoroughly this many hours and nothing jumps out at me. There are things we can discuss, but when it’s Friday. Friday is an important day to me. You’re getting ready for the week and we keep our foot on the gas pedal. And many of you are in your cars and your dinner table. And so I want to I want to draw your attention to this, some basic information. We’ve been listening a lot about people who claim that they’re MAGA or they conservatism is old, it’s no good. And on and on and on. And I thought we should study ourselves. I thought we should. We should go back to the to the North Star. Because our principles, yours or mine that we’ve been talking about for decades and we believe in that are the basis for our country. They’re not old. They’re not new. They just are what they are. That is their right. And so when we have people who sound like Marxists on the neofascist, Right. Who go on about. Yeah, forget about that stuff. We’ve got the new ideas. Just remember who that’s coming from. Very confused and often stupid people. And of course, we’re looking. Straight at Marxism Islamism, which is incompatible with Americanism. So I want to remind you. To put it succinctly. Conservatism is a way of understanding life, society and governance. The founders were heavily influenced by certain philosophers. One of them was a contemporary Adam Smith. Spontaneous Order. Charles Montesquieu. Separation of powers. Especially John Locke. Natural Rights. They were also influenced by their faiths, personal experiences and knowledge of history, including the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Edmund Burke, who was both a British statesman born in Ireland and a thinker, is often said to be the father of modern conservatism. He was an early defender of the American Revolution and advocate of representative government. He wrote of the interconnection of liberty, free markets, religion, tradition and authority. The conservative, like the founders, is informed by all these great thinkers and many more. The Declaration of Independence represents the most prominent official consensus position of the founders. The rationale for declaring independence from England. The founders believed and the conservative agreed and the dignity of the individual that we as human beings have a right to live, live freely and pursue that which motivates us. Not because man or some government says so. But because these are God given natural rights. Like the founders, the conservative also recognizes in society a harmony of interests, as Adam Smith put it, and rules of cooperation that have developed through generations of human experience and collective reasoning. That promote the betterment of the individual and society. This is characterized as ordered liberty, the social contract or the civil society. Now, what are the conditions of this civil society? In the civil society, the individual is recognized and accepted as more than an abstract statistic or faceless member of some group. Rather, he is a unique spiritual being with a soul and a conscience. He’s free to discover his own potential and pursue his own legitimate interests. Temperate, however, by a moral order that has its foundation in faith and guides his life and all human life through the prudent exercise of judgment. As such, the individual in the society strives, albeit imperfectly, to be virtuous that is restrained, ethical and honorable. He rejects the relativism that blurs the lines between good and bad, right and wrong. Just and unjust and means and ends. It’s in the civil society. The individual has a duty to respect the unalienable rights of others and the values, customs and traditions tried and tested over time and passed from one generation to the next. That established society’s cultural identity. He’s responsible for attending to his own well-being and that of his family. And he has a duty as a citizen to contribute voluntarily to the welfare of his community through good works. In the civil society, private property and liberty are inseparable. The individual’s right to live freely and safely and pursue happiness includes the right to acquire and possess property. Which represents the fruits of his own intellectual and physical labor as the individual’s time on earth is finite. So too is his labor. The illegitimate denial, a diminution of his private property enslaves him to another and denies him his liberty. In the civil society, a rule of law which is just known and predictable and applied equally, albeit imperfectly, provides the governing framework for and restraints on the polity, thereby nurturing the civil society and serving as a check against arbitrary use and hence abuse of power. For the conservative. The civil society has the highest purpose, its preservation and improvement. The modern liberal believes in the supremacy of the state, thereby rejecting the principles of the declaration and the order of the civil society in whole or part. For the modern liberal, the individual’s imperfection and personal pursuits impede the objective of a utopian state. In this, modern liberalism promotes what French historian Alexis de Tocqueville described as a soft tyranny, which becomes increasingly more oppressive, potentially leading to a hard tyranny, some form of totalitarianism, as the word liberal is in its classical meaning the opposite of authoritarian. It’s more accurate, therefore, to characterize the modern liberal as a statist. The founders understood that the greatest threat to liberty is an all powerful central government with a few dictate to the many. They also knew that the rule of the mob would lead to anarchy and in the end, despotism. During the Revolutionary War, the states more or less followed the Articles of Confederation. In which most governing authority remained with the states. After the war, the founders labor to establish a new nation. The defects with the articles became increasingly apparent. The central government did not have the ability to to fund itself. Moreover. States were issuing their own currency, conducting their own foreign policy and raising their own armies. Trade disputes among the states and with other countries were hampering commerce and threatening national prosperity. Eventually the articles were replaced with the Constitution. Which granted the federal government another authority. To cultivate, promote and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, quote unquote. But not enough authority to destroy it all. For much of American history, the balance between government authority and individual liberty was understood and accepted. Federal power was confined to that which was specifically enumerated in the Constitution and no more. And that power was further limited, for it was dispersed among three federal branches. Beyond that, the power remained with the states and ultimately the people. The framers recognize the Constitution may require adjustments from time to time. Therefore, they provided two mechanisms, two methods for proposing amendments, only one of which has been used. And adopting all current amendments requires a supermajority of two thirds of the members of both houses of Congress to propose an amendment to the states for ratification and three fourths of the states to successfully ratify the proposed amendment. In all our history, the Constitution has been amended only 27 times, the first ten of which the Bill of Rights were adopted shortly after the Constitution was ratified. Clearly, the framers did not intend the Constitution to be easily altered. It was to be a lasting contract that could be modified only by the considered judgment of a significant representation of the body politic. And I think it goes on. The state is has an insatiable appetite for control. His sights set on his next meal even before he’s fully digested his last. He’s constantly agitating for government action. And in furtherance of that purpose, the state of speaks in the tongue of the demagogue, concocting one pretext and grievance after another to manipulate public perceptions and build popular momentum for the divestiture of liberty and property from its rightful possessors. The individual, the industrious, earnest and successful, are demonized as perpetrators of various offences against the public good, which justifies governmental intervention on behalf of an endless parade of so-called victims. In this way, the perpetrator and the victim are subordinated to the government’s authority, the former, by outright theft, the latter by dependent existence. In truth, both are made victims by the real perpetrators. The Statist. The status unveils. Excuse me. The state is vales pursuits and moral indignation intoning in high dungeon the injustices and inequities of liberty and life itself, for which only he can provide justice and bring a righteous resolution. And when the resolution proves elusive, as it undoubtedly does, whether the Marxist promise of the worker’s paradise or the Great Society’s War on Poverty, the status demands ever more authority to wring out the imperfections of mankind’s existence. Unconstrained by constitutional prohibitions, what is left to limit the state’s ambitions but its own moral compass? It’s already led him astray. He’s never circumspect about his shortcomings. Failure is not the product of his beliefs, but merely want of power and resources. Thus are born endless rationalizations for seizing ever more governmental authority. And it goes on pretty good stuff when you say Mr.. You’re right. It’s from the first chapter of liberty and tyranny. I think there are people out there, so-called influencers and podcasters who claim to be of the right who really neo neofascist in many respect. Who reject everything. I just read you in a book that was written 16 years ago was the bestselling conservative book in modern history, Liberty and Tyranny. Over 1.5 million copies. It was the book that was used at and by the Tea Party movement. Which became MAGA Make America Great Again movement. Under our great president, Donald Trump. People who who spread hate and bigotry, anti-Semitism, trash Christians who believe in the Holy Land, who push hard on racism and bigotry. And misogyny. They’re not conservatives. They’re not constitutionalists. They are thugs. They are thugs every bit as the Marxists and the Islamists. They are thugs. I don’t care if I’m the last beacon of light. I don’t care. I will continue to speak out against these people. Their surrogates. And I will do it on every platform I have. And I want to give you the good news, the enormous outpouring of support for this program. For my other platforms. For me, taking these people on, encouraging other people to do the same, Other people beginning to do the same. Is a great sign. That we who believe in Americanism, that we who believe in our founding and our our Constitution. That we who embrace these principles. We’re not going anywhere. In fact, we’re rallying. We’re speaking out even when politicians who claim to represent us do not. With a relative handful who do most of them. Six silently cowering quislings. Not me and not you. I’ll be right back.
Segment 2
So it’s important to go back to your core, whether it’s your faith that is your values and your beliefs when you measure. The character of somebody. When you process what they’re saying to you. What their motivations are. What their values are are not necessarily years. You don’t want to be part of a mob. We get whipped into a frenzy. Whipped into a frenzy to to turn on your fellow citizens. Whipped into a frenzy. Through old blood, libels and prejudices. You know, the midterm elections are not far away and we could very easily lose those if we don’t stay focused. These people I’ve been talking about for months, the Carlson’s, the Kelly’s, the Owens, the Bannon’s, the Alex Joneses and so forth.
Segment 3
Not a lot of talk these days about affordability. First on the Marxist Islamist. The incoming mayor of New York and now a commentator on TV or everybody who writes affordability. And I believe there is some of that. But I don’t believe that’s the only reason the election results were what they were last Tuesday in these Democrat strongholds. I believe that simplistic. Affordability is an issue for many people. But it doesn’t even make sense in the state of New Jersey. As I’ve discussed with you many times, the party in power was the one that’s made. It unaffordable for many to live in the state of New Jersey with the massive property taxes among the highest in the country and the electricity bills which are right up there with California needlessly so. They shut down five power plants. The Democrats did. Now. That’s my point, too. This is an important point. Other things took place, too. So what I’m going to do on tomorrow night, Life, Liberty and Levin. What I’m going to do is I’m going to compare New York and California. Virginia and New Jersey. But the three states from last Tuesday, plus California, two Republican states. Florida, Texas, Ohio. In Tennessee. The blue states are unaffordable. The red states are very affordable. And so my premise is going to be. If the issue is affordability, of course, we want to we want to confront that. But why is it the Republicans are on their heels on the issue of affordability when Republican states are far more affordable than Democrat states? You see my point, Mr. Peterson and I did a tremendous amount of research on this 6 hours I spent on it. I got up before five in the morning and prepared it on the monologue. If you’re interested. And I go through them. I’ll tell you something else I found that was very interesting. The top five states where young people, that is sons and daughters are still living at home with their parents are all Democrats states Mr. Peters. All five of them. The five states in which the least amount of young people are still living with their parents are all Republican state. So even if we look. At the segment of society that’s considered the youth vote. They have it better in Republican states than they do in Democrat states. And I’m going to reveal all this in a significant way with graphs and everything else to try and help the administration, try and help the Republicans in Congress and help show them the way. Help. Show them the way. To making the case the Democrats are running around complaining about affordability. And by the way, that information I just gave you doesn’t even include the tax situation. Which in blue states are much higher than in red states. It doesn’t even include the crime statistics where crime is much higher in blue states than red states. So taxes are lower in red states, crime is lower. In red states. The cost of living is lower in red states. The Republicans have a treasure trove of things they can run on. Mr. Producer is there. And I waited to tell you this this evening so I wouldn’t be ripped off by the usual plagiarists in radio and TV. I don’t like doing hours and hours and hours of research and an analysis, and then somebody’s listening in and they do something. But you get my point. I think it’s very important. You’re going to hear this tomorrow night, Saturday night on Life, Liberty and Levin. We’re going to have Charles Payne. He’s fantastic and a lady by the name of Olay, Allie, rather, Mara. And we’re going to go into what the NEA and the AFP are doing to our schools well beyond what you already know. The American Parents Association Killer show Saturday night. Killer show Sunday night. We’re going to have. Representative Chris Smith. And we’re going to go through what’s happening to Christians around the world and how they’re being slaughtered by Islamists and by communists. I’ve talked about it many times behind this microphone, and now we’re going to really dig in hard. And Neil Ferguson, one of the great scholars and thinkers and authors out there on the state of of the West and the United States in particular. And I. I think both programs are worth you. Set your DVR 8 p.m. Eastern Time, Saturday and Sunday, and watching live if you’re available. That would even be better. But either way, either way. I don’t just sit there and have 14 guests on and kill time and all the rest of it. I don’t have writers who write a damn thing for me. Nothing. Zero. I don’t have researchers who do research for me. I do it and I do it. So I’m familiar with it. I do it. So I. I comprehend it and I can explain it. So it’s not somebody else’s words in somebody else’s work. I guess they call it old school. Mr.. But is. But I believe in it. These principles I started the program off with. Why we are a great country. Our belief systems, our faith family. These principles. They’ve got to be your North Star. You’ve got to hold on to them, hold on to them tightly, like your life depends on it, because it does. Even when familiar faces are out there. Preaching something that, you know, to be wrong doesn’t sound right. You must reject them and you must reject it. Whatever they’re spewing, they have different motivations. They have different goals than you. And they’re adopting practices of the Marxist Islamist left and they’re trying to apply them to you, Mr. and Mrs. America. And in doing so and trying to distinguish themselves from the Marxists. In Islamists, they’re embracing a very old and dangerous. And poisonous ideology of the neofascist, Right. That is not us. That’s not you and me. We’re not even of the right. We are constitutional conservatives. How can I be of the right of the Constitution? We embrace the whole thing. We are constitutional conservatives. We’re not rightists. That’s what the left calls this. No, we’re not rightists. We’re constitutional conservatives. Who understand our founding. Do not fall into a trap. Do not abandon what you know to be true. Do not abandon what we have discussed for decades. And I am pleased to say you’re not. You’re not. And these people are unraveling. You want to know why? Because I’m shining the light of truth on them. And all they have are personal insults. They have sexism, ageism, racism. Anti Semitism, turning on Christians, turning on our country, promoting Sharia. Promoting Putin, promoting Holocaust deniers, and. Hitler advocates and all the rest. That’s not you. If you’re subscribing to these people, you need to unsubscribe. It’s up to you, of course. It’s up to you. But that’s the market system. That’s not government. If these people are saying things that you know to be an abomination, you need to reject them. Ask yourself about some of the guests they have on their programs or some of the things they say. Would you want these people at your dinner table talking to your children? Would you? I don’t think so. And we have one of them that’s actually talking about whether a 15 year old still considered a child under the law and still considered a child. To me, they have no real experiences and so forth. Just completing puberty. Well, they’re 15 year old can actually be. Considered. Considered somebody, a human being who can be molested by a pedophile. Now, as soon as somebody is debating the age of a of a child. It’s in the context of pedophilia. You need to run as fast as you can, folks. You need to run as fast as you can. I don’t care who it is. I don’t care how much you’ve enjoyed listening to this person that you need to run. When you have another person who’s got more emails with Epstein that you can count and as videos that he won’t release, and that is confessed to fraud, a felony, I guess maybe many of you claiming to raise money for a wall and he never built. You need to run from that person as fast as you can. I don’t care if they have the gift of gab. I don’t care if they have a silver tongue. It doesn’t matter. That’s not you. Those are not your principles. If you admired somebody over the past and they not only platform but promote and embrace Nick Fontes. Who promotes and embraces Hitler. And Stalin. And the raping a women. You need to run from that person as fast as you can. There is no excuse. None. Think about your family. Think about your morals. Think about your parents and how you were raised. Think about how you want your children and grandchildren raised. You don’t want these people anywhere near them or near you. And what kind of person do you admire? Who pays for sex. With young girls. I don’t care if they’re 17 or 18 or what they are pays for it. Is that what you want? Is that somebody you want to follow? Or somebody who who basically claimed that. All those kids who were murdered. In Connecticut that there was a big sham. Inside job. Is that somebody worth listening to for even 5 seconds? There are many people who disagree with me who are platformed on podcasts and so forth and so on. I am happy to engage them. I’m happy to debate them. We’ve had discussions with them over the decades. That’s all. Got these people that I’m talking about right now. That’s only five of them. And they’re more. Their poison. Absolutely poison. I don’t know if it’s a mental defect. I don’t know if it’s a personality defect. I don’t know if it’s their ideology. I don’t know if they’re grifters. I don’t know if they’re getting foreign money. It doesn’t matter. Does it really? And here’s one other thing I want you to really think about hard. They all turn on the president. They all claim claim to be MAGA. They’re not MAGA. Tucker Carlson was never a mag, only stabbing the president in the back. Megan Kelly now insinuating that. There’s something in the Epstein Files that doesn’t look good for for Trump. I don’t know what she’s talking about. Neither does she. It doesn’t matter. Marjorie Taylor GREENE. What a ridiculous clown. Off on her own. The left displaying her Rush said that that’s what the left does. And she’s so stupid. She’s. She’s easy. She’s like a ball of clay in there. They’re having a grand old time with her on the left. She comes from a very Republican district. She doesn’t fear primary challenge. She thinks it’s because she’s so great. Now, that’s not why. Because they vote Republican. She’s stabbing the president in the back. I told you they would. They’re not MAGA. They’re not Make America great again. A term first used in Reagan’s reelection in 1984. They’re not MAGA. They admire Mundane. There’s nothing to admire. They speak up for Hamas. Many of them. That’s pretty sick. They’ve got this obsession against Jews and Israel. Like most bigots do. And they claim to love America. But they never talk up America. They trash our country. When you trash our country, you’re trashing our people. They’re trashing you. Mr. and Mrs. America, Wash your hands. Be done with them. Many of you already are. Many of you already are. Stick to your beliefs and your principles. Stick to your faith and your family. Stick to the American founding. Who are these people? Who are they? What have they ever done with their lives? Nothing. Nothing. What have they contributed to the country? Absolutely nothing. Zero. Did they did you see them at the Tea Party? No. Did you see them at the Reagan revolution? If you’re old enough? No. Do you see them at convention of states? No. They show up at events because they want people to applaud them. A self fulfilling ego. But that’s it. I’ll be right back.
Segment 4
Now, if our generation lose its way and we go the way of the neo fascists, we’re going to lose the country because our principles are what’s lasting and we’re going to lose it to the Marxist Islamists. That’s what’s going to happen. And I’m very, very concerned about it. We need to get behind our principles. We need to spread the word. We need to demonstrate that they work, affordability, security, whatever the issue is. We’re going to lose the country thanks to the neo fascist who claim to represent you and me. We’ll be right back.
