On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, in chapter two of “American Marxism,” titled “Breeding Mobs,” it explains how mass movements devour individual identity and uniqueness, rendering people indistinguishable while assigning group identities based on race, age, or income to foster class distinctions and divisions. These movements attract disenchanted, disaffected, and maladjusted individuals who blame external factors like the system or others for their conditions, lured by utopian promises and criticisms of society, where improving their lot ties to the cause and disparaging the successful becomes a tactic to instill meaning and self-worth. Ultimately, these movements rely on deceit, propaganda, intimidation, and force, leading to scapegoating, violence, and totalitarianism. Just think of figures like Bernie Sanders, AOC, Nick Fuentes, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, and their supporters. Also, Democrats are trying to insinuate that Trump spent significant time with Virginia Giuffre and possibly engaged in untoward behavior. However, Giuffre herself stated in 2016 that Trump was never involved in any improper conduct with her and that she witnessed nothing inappropriate. Democrats redacting Giuffre’s name in leaked emails was intentional to fabricate a scandal, similar to the Russia hoax. Later, Gov Greg Abbott calls in and explains that he shut down the proposed EPIC center in the Dallas area, an Islamic-only development, through a new law that bans no-go zones, prohibits discriminatory land sales or rentals based on Islam, mandates disputes be resolved under Texas laws and courts rather than Sharia law, and empowers the Attorney General to close such projects. He also outlined a multi-point plan to make housing more affordable by reducing property taxes. Finally, Professor Emeritus John Ellis calls in and argues that to save universities from radical political zealots who have replaced knowledge promotion with fringe ideology indoctrination, urgent reform is essential, as evidenced by radicalized graduates influencing society, such as New York’s communist mayor.

Hello, America. Mark Levin here. Our number 877-381-3811. 877-381-3811. We’re going to move fast here. I’ve encouraged you to take a look at my book, American Marxism from four years ago, to get a feel for what’s taking place. That is actually quite prescient. But it’s not hard to be prescient when you’re looking at Marxism or fascism or those things, because the world has experienced them. The question is here, we’ve not experienced them. And in chapter two, I talk about breeding maps. Now, even though I’m writing about American Marxism, as you’ll see, it would apply to any kind of ism that is totalitarian in nature. This is chapter two Breeding mobs. Many of you have the book. Mass movements attended a vow to the individual in two ways. Now I want you to be thinking of mundane me. Bernie Sanders. You know. AOC, Marxism, Islamism. I also want you to be thinking of the fascists and neo fascist. Who I’ve been exposing as thoroughly as possible. I want you to be thinking about Fuentes. In Bannon. Alex Jones. And Tucker. And their supporters who give them who give them a free ride. The Megyn Kelly eyes of the world and those people. Mass movements attempt to devour the individual in two ways. Consume his identity and uniqueness, thereby making him indistinguishable from the masses, but also assigning him a group identity based on race, age, income, etc., to draw class distinctions. This way, the demagogues and propagandists can speak to the well-being of the people as a whole while dividing them against themselves, thereby stampeding them in one direction or another as necessary to collapse the existing society or rule over the new one. And who among us is attracted to such mass movements? Again, I noted in my prior book Maria Topia. A receptive audience has found among the society’s disenchanted, disaffected, dissatisfied and maladjusted who are unwilling or unable to assume responsibility for their own real or perceived conditions, but instead blame their surroundings, the system and others. They are lured by the false hopes and promises of utopian transformation and the criticisms of the existing society to which their connection is tentative or non-existent. Improving the malcontents lot becomes linked to the utopian cause. Moreover, disparaging and diminishing the successful and accomplished becomes an essential tactic. No one should be better than anyone else, regardless of the merits or value of his contribution. And by exploiting human frailties, frustrations, jealousies, and inequities, a sense of meaning and self-worth is created in the malcontents otherwise unhappy and directionless life. As you can see, this applies to the Marxists and the fascists. Furthermore, in mass movements, the individual’s inconsequential as a person useful only as an insignificant part of an amalgamation of of insignificant parts. His a worker. Part of a mass. Nothing more, nothing less. His existence is soulless. Absolute obedience is the highest virtue. After all, only an army of drones is capable of building a rainbow to paradise. Almost a century ago, French philosopher and essayist Julian Benda observed that mass movements form frequently around individuals who share the same political hatred, that the same political hatred, he wrote. Thanks to the progress of communication and still more to the group spirit, it’s clear that the holders of the same political hatred now form a compact, impassioned mass, every individual of which feels himself in touch with the infinite numbers of others. Whereas a century ago, such people were comparatively out of touch with each other and hated in a scattered way. I’ve been talking about the podcasting in the Internet, ladies and gentlemen, and the dangers it poses. There’s simply no question about that. He said. B asserted that these coherence will tend to develop still further for the world. A group is one of the most profound characteristics of the modern world. You wrote this 100 years ago, which even in the most unexpected domains, for instance, the domain of thought is more and more becoming the world of legs, of unions and of groups. It is necessary to say that the passion of the individual, strengthened by the filling itself from proximity to these thousands of similar passions. The individual bestows a mystic personality on the association of which he feels himself a member and gives it a religious adoration, which is simply the deification of his own passion. And no small stimulates to its intensity. That’s genius, don’t you think? Most readers who. Bender also concluded that such movements are because that’s what’s going on today, right now. Ben also concluded that such movements are often cult like. He wrote The coherence just described might be called a surface coherence. But there is added to it a coherence of essence for the very reason that the holders of the same political passion form a more a a more compact, impassioned group. They also form a more homogeneous, impassioned group, which the individual ways of feeling disappear. The zeal of each member more and more takes on the color of the others. And so you see this Jew hatred. You see this Christian hatred. You see this this American hatred. And it builds on it and builds on it and builds on itself. Absolute brilliance. Let’s go on. I wrote nearly a decade ago that these mass movements that, as I wrote, that are intolerant of diversity, uniqueness, debate for their purpose requires a singular focus. There can be no competing voices, root causes slowing or obstructing society’s long and and righteous march. They rely on deceit, propaganda, dependence, intimidation and force. And I go on in that regard. Let me continue. I’m not going to read the whole chapter, but I think it’s very, very important if you have the book just dusted off. 70 years ago, Eric Hoffer wrote an iconic book, The True Believer. And I even mentioned him in my first liberty and tyranny. On the nature of mass movements. Hoffer explained that mass movements are built of deeply flawed individuals with deeply flawed ideas. He noted that, quote, A mass movement attracts and holds a following not because it can satisfy the desire for some advancement, but because it can satisfy the passion for self renunciation. People who see their lives as irredeemably spoiled cannot find a worthwhile purpose and self advancement. They look on self-interest as something tainted in evil, something unclean and unlucky. Anything undertaken under the auspices of the self seems to them for doomed. Nothing that has its roots and reasons in the self can be good and noble. Moreover, most mass movements I write are angry and gloomy movements hostile toward well-adjusted, happy and successful individuals, among others. Indeed I write later there is a kind of psychotic pleasure and excitement in wrecking the present day society, including, if not especially one as free, humane, tolerant, virtuous as ours. Harper. Let’s see what surprises won when listening to the frustrated as they decry the present and all it works, writes Hoffer, is the enormous joy they derive from doing so. Such delight cannot come from the mere venting of a grievance. Backspace hating upon the incurable baseness and vileness of the times, the frustrated soften their feeling of failure and isolation. Thus, by deprecating the present, they acquire a vague sense of equality. The cause itself becomes the reason for one’s existence. As Hoffer pointed out, the means a mass movement uses to make the present and Pablo both strike a responsive chord in the frustrated. The self-mastery needed in overcoming their appetites gives them an illusion of strength. They feel that in the mastering themselves, they have mastered the world. One gains the impression that the frustrated derive as much satisfaction, if not more, from the means a mass movement uses as from the end it advocates. My God, Is that true? That’s Harper’s describing a fanatic and fanaticism. He says the fanatics passionate attachment is the essence of his blind devotion and religion and religiosity. And he sees in it the source of all virtue and strength. Though his single minded dedication is a holding on for dear life, he easily sees himself as the supporter and defender of the holy Cause to which he clings. These are before and this and the groupers and the people who subscribed to Carlson and Bannon. These would be the Marxists, the Islamists, the people who vote for man Damien Herzog. Hoffer explains it this way The fanatic cannot be weaned away from his cause by an appeal to his reason or moral sense. Let me repeat that the fanatic cannot be weaned away from his cause by an appeal to his reason or moral sense. Again, this is in chapter two in American Marxism. He fears compromise and cannot be persuaded to qualify that the certitude and righteousness of his holy cause. This passionate attachment is more vital than the quality of the cause to which he is attached. He continues to live without an ardent, dedicated dedication is to be adrift and abandoned. He sees intolerance, a sign of weakness, frivolity and ignorance. He hungers for the deep assurance which comes with total surrender, with the whole hearted clinging to a creed and a cause. Sorry, I have to read with a magnifying glass. What matters is not the content. Hold on. Is not the contents of the cause, but the total dedication and communion with the congregation. The fanatic comes from all walks of life and all backgrounds. You could look at George Soros. You can look at others like Bender Harper Sees the Fanatic, and the mass movement is centered on an intense, if not obsessive, hatred. He says passionate hatred can give meaning and purpose to an empty life. Thus, people haunted by the purposelessness of their lives try to find a new content, not only by dedicating themselves to a holy cause, but also by nursing a fanatical grievance. A mass movement offers them unlimited opportunities for both. Indeed, I write the dangerousness of this hatred when tied to a cause, can have calamitous societal and human consequences. It leads to scapegoating Balkanization, violence and in its more aggressive form, ethnic cleansing. I write more broadly and simultaneously. This hatred seeks to malign, debase, debauch and ultimately topple the status quo and this civil society. I’d say this is on Mark, don’t you, Mr. Producer? In the end, if such mass movements succeed, the result is totalitarianism. Hannah Arendt, who I cite in several of my books and I’m pointing it out here in American Marxism, genius, writer, philosopher, she suffered through the Holocaust. And she writes. The attraction of evil and crime for the mob mentality is nothing new. It has always been true that the mob agreed deeds of violence with the admiral with any admiring remark. Quote, It may be mean, but it’s very clever, unquote. The disturbing factor in the success of totalitarianism is rather the true selflessness of its adherents. In point of fact, I write mass movements are the necessary precursors to building revolutions and overthrowing governments. In the immediate instance, our own republic by various and competing tactical approaches. But as described earlier, there is a commonality and essential methodology to this counterrevolution and societal transformation. And that is the voice in the view of a collective. And I go on an excruciating detail throughout the book, especially this chapter in this chapter, not by accident, I titled Breeding Mobs, and we are breeding mobs. We are breeding Marxists, Marxists, Islamists, and we are breeding fascists. I’ll be right back.
Segment 2
Now this information that I’m conveying you find useful because. Because it affects you in the country. And I try to to draw from people who have written before and have experienced these things firsthand and and then apply it to present day in a way that you and I not only can understand, but realize what’s taking place. I see some of our friends, columnists and others are writing and writing well about what’s taking place. Not enough, but but several. And I’m impressed with the fact about what many of them are saying. But they are going over ground We’ve already gone over. And the problem now is, what do we do about this? And I think what we do about it is what we’re doing right here and what I’m doing on other platforms, which is confront it in the individuals who have popularized themselves and enrich themselves and promoting this are playing with dynamite. And I personally have an obligation to call them out and confront them. And I feel with you, an army of millions, that we can overcome this on the left and the neo-Nazi right.
Segment 3
And Marxist Islamists and fascists too, I would argue, Mr. Producer. All right, hold on, folks. And just to hit one other thing here. Hey, man, Come on. Come on, come on. Here we go. Breeding Mobs is the title of the chapter. Breeding mobs. Given the injustices, prejudices and inequality. Imposed by societies, dominant groups against so-called oppressed groups. At least this is the mentality. The oppressed groups must awaken to their inferior status, become politically aware, and then rise up in protest and even revolution against the existing society. And you see this with the Marxists in the fascists, of course. The oppressed must be encouraged to rise up and join in protest and even revolution. And this is pretty much what you’re hearing from podcasters. Ultimately these arguments for collective identity, collective beliefs and class consciousness in support of mass movements, wittingly or otherwise, have a Marxist formulation even for the fascists. And form the basis not only for peaceful protests, but violence, riots and revolution. And that’s what’s being urged by both. That’s what’s being urged by both. And when your goal is to overthrow a country. That means the goal is to overthrow you here, the country. I’ve been banging the pots and pans. I’ve been ringing the bells, they’ve been beeping the horn. And I’m going to keep doing it. I’m going to keep doing it. Because it is an enormous necessity with a large vacuum. Explain certain aspects of this. In the book on power. The use of language to distort, to manipulate, to mislead. The control. Podcasters are good at that. They’re good at very little else. They’ve accomplished very little else in their lives. They’ve been, for the most part, propagandists their entire careers. Regardless of the platform. They’ve never done anything else. Many of them, you can see that with Carlton. You can see that with points. You can see they were Kelly. You can see that with Jones. Totally ever done. That’s all I’ve ever done. And so they’re masters of propaganda. They’re masters at manipulation. They’re masters at deceit. In my humble opinion. That’s what they do. Propaganda is the reason. Use of historical and scientific arguments to indoctrinate. To indoctrinate. Not to educate. But to indoctrinate. Language is many purposes. At its core, language is about communication, of course, and many types of communication, many purposes for. I talk about the power of language and the power over language. And chapter four of On Power. Again, the distinction has been discussed over the ages and in recent times. That said, I use them to make certain fundamental points, understanding that they are distinguishable in significant ways. The pursuit and maintenance have negative power, and that’s what we’re talking about here, require the utilization of negative techniques in communication, including manipulation, deception, repetition, deceit, concealment, distraction and fear mongering and language that is intimidating, self-serving and orchestrated. It is an approach that seeks to arouse prejudices and and and stifle independent thought. The purpose is to exert power over language, over language, and to control the population without moral reservations. That’s exactly what’s taking place. Indeed, morality itself is said to be relative or nothing but an abstraction. Hamas is not a terrorist group. It’s a political organization. Concealing the rot. The rock. They argue, of open societies and democracies and obfuscating the exploitation of the people and the political context. When language is applied this way, it strikes a central part. A Democrat of a Democratic system, denying the body politic information with which to make knowledge. Qualitative. And to make. Collective societal decisions. Of course, this is the intention of its practitioners. Moreover, communication of this sort exists for the purpose of arousing and angering the citizenry and exhorting them to action that is destructive of the existing society and their own lives and lifestyles and service to the demagogue and his aims. And in as much as the people and their consent are the only legitimate and just source of government, the entire enterprise becomes corrupt. A malevolent. Citizens acquiesce to it, regurgitated or even demand it where applicable, vote for it, believing there’s no other course or that it is the best course until it’s too late to reverse course without an abrupt and often violent revolt. But for many suffering persists for an extended period of time. So in writing about this threat to our country. And free countries for some time, going all the way back to the earliest books. But I thought I would underscore the point this evening. So when you’re listening to people or you’re on the Internet reading what they have to say, understand what’s going on, cut through it. If something sounds strange, it is. If something sounds immoral, it is If something sounds controlling and manipulative and misleading, it is. It doesn’t matter who it’s coming from. It’s these things and more. So I’m just encouraging you to please keep this in mind, because right now I think we have an epidemic, maybe even a pandemic. Of so-called influencers podcasters, and not just podcasters. Video casters, I guess you call them. Who fall into this. Enter this rank. We’re making a fortune. I mean, a fortune. Lying to you, deceiving you, manipulating you about the most basic things. The Bible. Christianity. Jews. World War Two. Hitler versus Churchill. Go down the list. And they’re doing this intentionally. And they’re doing this to try and. And bring down the society. They have no intention of helping anybody. They have no intention. Or actually, they have No. No connection with you. They’re trying to create something that’s been created many times in the past. What Eric Hoffer was talking about, what a rant was talking about, what others are talking about, what I’ve been writing about and talking about. This exists. Now. We’re going to move on next hour and we have some great guests. Governor Greg Abbott asked the. You wanted to come on and discuss a few things. We are professor Emeritus, University of California, Santa Cruz, John Ellis, who wrote a brilliant piece in the New York Post. He says it’s time to put the colleges in a receivership, a former receivership. And addressed this issue in the faculty because it’s not going to be addressed by any agreements by them. That is the schools or anything of the sort. And this. And this poison in this propaganda is going to continue. It’s not about free speech. It’s about who controls these institutions. And I think that’s exactly right. In fact, I know it is. I’ll be right back.
Segment 4
All right. I’m going to comment on the Epstein matter to show you how disgusting this leak from the Democrats is and the Republicans who are piling on. They put out an email, Mr. Producer, where they redact the name Virginia Dupree. Everybody knows it’s Virginia Dupree. It’s an email that’s insinuating that Donald Trump spent a lot of time with her. And that there was something that may have taken place there. The problem is in 2016 and since Virginia Dupre herself on the record. Has said that Donald Trump was never involved in anything untoward with her, any kind of behavior conduct. She didn’t witness anything. That took place, period. So the question that’s being asked is then why did the Democrats redact her name, Mr. Producer? To try and create. A scandal. And so when you have Republicans on Capitol Hill and you have podcasters and phony influencers jumping all over this like there’s something here, there’s literally nothing here. Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar a Lago decades ago because he was being a sleaze ball to his female employee, so he threw him out. And he was being a sleazeball, too. Jeffrey. Virginia. Jeffrey. Not Dupre. Jeffrey. So the whole thing. Is to concoct conversation. And we’ve been through this stuff before. With the Russia hoax. This is a hoax. If there is anything on Donald Trump, it will be leaked. So instead, they redact the name of this woman, Virginia Jeffrey. Who has said. Who has said that nothing happened. Said nothing happened. They redact the name. Of this alleged victim. That’s her. That’s her to create the impression. That there’s something wrong and that’s their strongest email. Then you have emails where you have an author. You have an author, this guy, Wolf, who writes these gossip books. Michael Wolff, who’s advising Epstein on how to damage Trump. On how to get the goods on them. And there’s other journalists. Who would appear to be advising Epstein on what to do. So this is why I just don’t spend a ton of time on this. You’re going to have ignoramuses. Podcasters of all stripes. They’re going to be going on and on and on and on about this and in far as releasing files it. It’s the president of the White House itself that say, go ahead, release all the grand jury information. And the reason they’re saying that is there are real victims. Epstein. What’s a monster? A monster? There are real victims. Real victims. But there aren’t any as a result of Donald Trump because they would have come out by now. And there’s not a single podcaster of any stripe or single. I don’t know, manipulator of any kind that can name any inside the redact the name of Virginia Jeffrey, the so-called unnamed victim who spent hours with President Trump. When she has said for years. There was nothing untoward about his behavior or conduct or anything else. And it was Trump. After learning about Jeffrey Epstein’s behavior, banned him from Mar a Lago. So they’re trying to create an air. Well, that’s release all the files. Release all the files, whether leaking what they think are the most important parts. I don’t care if it’s released or not. Doesn’t matter to me. But that’s not the point. The point is this clearly is intended to change the narrative. From this failed shut down and the withholding of food stamps and everything led by the Democrats. The Democrats are expert propaganda manipulators. Expert. And you’re going to see this times a million should they win the House of Representatives back like they did last time. And you’re going to see it all attached to impeachment. You even have some of these lowlife so-called podcasters of fake MAGA, as well as the left coming in. This could be impeachment. What could be impeachment? Mr. Producer. What? So there’s no controversy here as applies to Trump. One of the controversies that that seems to be ignored all the time is Bannon. Who was. Apparently advising Epstein on how to deal with this crisis. There are videos of this, I believe that Bannon. The ban it had produced and he won’t release those. They confessed Felon will not release his videos. And so, again, we have these damnable, phony journalists like this. Michael Wolff. She’s an author, too, advising Epstein on how to damage Trump. I want to I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked as Trump, he says. Victim one in the emails redacted. And it’s this woman I just told you about spent hours at my house with him, and he has never once been mentioned. That is Trump. But it has been mentioned. And victim one was not victimized by Donald Trump. How do we know? She said South. Years and years ago and since. And so you have all these reports on this, you have all these podcast, they live on their staff. They just want to gin it up. I need eyes, I need, I need subscriptions. I, I want I am righteous release this time. Righteous. I call him as I see him. I am righteous. I call balls and strike. No, you’re not. You’re frauds, phonies and fools. Who don’t have the guts to stand up. They don’t have the guts to stand up and to fight it. I do. I try to ignore it. But it’s. You know, at this point, I have to respond to this. Let’s see here if I can get the exact quote. She was deposed in 2016 and denied that Donald Trump assaulted her, had sex with her, was untoward. Treated him badly. Period. And she said that under oath. Categorically denied it. I’ll be right back.
