So, why charge the bayonets over the debt ceiling in one big fight, they ask? Instead, charge the bayonets over and over again because, as we all know, the same GOP leadership that has caved and cowered over past continuing resolutions, the 2011 debt ceiling, the fiscal cliff, and on and on, can be counted on to … do what, exactly? Meanwhile, in the next four months, the fiscal operations debt grows by another $400 billion. Perhaps the GOP should just surrender. That way, no more charging bayonets, no more hard decisions, no more deceptions.
