On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, today is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, which turned the war around in Europe. If we failed, the Allies might have lost WW2. During Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump’s D-Day speeches, they talked about Israel and the Holocaust during WW2. Today, Biden mentioned Ukraine today but not Israel. Biden mentioned his opposition to isolationism but appeases Iran and their terrorist surrogates. He has learned nothing from history, and he never will. There wasn’t any politics or partisanship during Reagan and Trump’s speeches, it was about America. For Biden, his speech was all about politics. Has Biden given any speeches that have been inspiring or patriotic? Also, we hear the drums of war today, America is directly being threatened by China, Russia, and Iran. Biden has tied the hands of Ukraine and Israel. At the same time, Biden is destroying the American military by changing the culture and starving the military with funding. It’s troubling that Biden’s actions never match his words. Later, Hunter Biden doesn’t have a strong case and he doesn’t have a strong case for appeal either. Hunter is a perfect example of the problem that we have with guns. Law-abiding citizens are not the problem, but people who lie on these gun forms are.

Segment 1
Hello, America. Mark Levin. Here are our number 877-381-3811. 877-381-3811. Well, it’s an important day. 80th anniversary of D-Day. Turn the war around in Europe. If we had failed on D-Day. The allies may well have lost World War Two. Certainly in the European theater. As our forces were also fighting in the Pacific. A horrendous war. And we hear the the drums of war now. We are directly being threatened by communist China. They’re making threats. By fascistic Russia, but the Islamo Nazi regime in Iran, which. Was not mentioned in President Biden’s speech. If you’re going to mention Russia, why would you leave out the rest of the Axis powers? I will get into that. I will get into that a little later. But first. Just a little lesson about the D-Day invasion. Cut one. Go. Well, Lee Day was obviously the most important single fight of that war. And of course, had we lost it. There’s no telling what the outcome would have been. Since the American entry into the war, American generals have been agitating for an opportunity to fight the Germans directly. The D-Day invasion invasion of Normandy in June 1944 represented the cutting edge of this. Essential condition that underwrote the success of D-Day was the fact that Germany had been bled virtually to death by fighting on the eastern front for several years against the Red Army and the Soviet Union before D-Day ever happened. The Germans had been preparing for this invasion as long as the Americans, the British had been, and they had been digging in and they knew that they could inflict appalling casualties on the first units ashore. Well, somebody had to do it. And so the soldiers. Well, and indeed, those first units did suffer very high rates of death. And the next. But one thing to go on a beach with sand dunes is something else. When you’ve got anybody on top of these bluffs and for some reason our naval gunnery was either all for something went wrong there. Larry couldn’t destroy those yacht emplacements, but eventually the weight of the invasion took hold. The numbers of Americans, the numbers of crowd allowed the Americans and the British to establish a beachhead. And once they established a beachhead, then they could bring more and more soldiers and equipment ashore. One thing I don’t think either the Japanese or the Germans really counted on was what it meant to come up against a massive capitalist industrial power. The ability to build stuff on a massive scale of mass and numbers was just something they hadn’t really anticipated. If you look back at the old photographs and the footage of that armada out there off the coast of Florida, I don’t think they’ve ever assembled before or after anything like that. Eventually it was the technology was the weight of American weapons. That tipped the balance. But at the very beginning it was the soldiers, the ones who splashed ashore. The ones who knew that in the first wave, lots and lots of them would never come back. And those are the ones who made possible everything that followed. The Rangers went in first and the waves that came after them. Stood right up to it. There was more bravery that day than one can only imagine. So many of these battles in World War Two were horrendous. Battle of the Bulge. Other battles he would Jima. And we can go on and on. But this. This battle was the largest armada in the history of the world. And I have to say. If you were storming those beaches, when they were firing those massive machine guns down on the beaches. One of the doors on those boats flopped down. They were. They were killing. They’re killing our Marines right there. Many of them before they got out of the boat. And the rounds were so large they could go through one, two, even three men at a time. Theodore Roosevelt’s son. Teddy Jr, was a sergeant. He’s an older guy. I think he was in his fifties. He died. At Normandy on Omaha Beach, and so did many others, of course. You know, people just. After the attack on Pearl Harbor of all ages. They rushed in to sign up for the various military services. Hundreds of thousands of them. My mother’s father, my grandfather, his brother. Excuse me. His brother in law. And my father. Father was 17. My grandfather was 34. But there’s so many stories. Harold. How Baumgarten had a veteran whose recollections. Inspired the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan. We call saying the shaman. One of the most important prayers. In the Jewish faith and Hebrew out loud while storming Omaha Beach. Cut to go, I decided to draw a huge star of David on the back of my army field jacket. I rode the Bronx, New York around the star David. I had let the Germans know where I was coming from. My fellow soldiers couldn’t believe that I was going to do that. Guys in the front said, The Germans are going to cut your so-and-so’s off when they see that. We landed about 649 Omaha Beach. Everybody in that boat was killed except for two of us. About 30 of our guys were hiding by two tanks to survive. I decided being Jewish, I better go straight in. I didn’t want to look like the coward I wanted. The film was to see that I didn’t have the fear. I’m not going to take cover. I prayed Decima during that day. Adler Charmaine, Israel. I don’t know. L I know. I know what? Hero. Israel. The word icon. The word is one. That was the only prayer I said on the beach. It was a horrible day. It was the dawn, the longest day. You’re lucky you to live through all that. I did get wounded five times. So many stories, so many men going. We’re going to spend a little time on this. But before we take our first break. Ronald Reagan in Normandy, France, June six, 1984, the 40th anniversary of D-Day. Hat tip Reagan Foundation and at the opening hat tip. History cut to go. 40 summers have passed since the battle that you fought here. You were young the day you took these cliffs. Some of you were hardly more than boys with the deepest joys of life before you. That you risked everything here. Why? Why did you do it? Well, what impelled you to put aside the instinct for self-preservation and risk your lives to take these cliffs? What inspired all the men of the armies? That meant here we look at you and somehow we know the answer. It was faith and belief. It was loyalty and love. The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right. Faith that they fought for all humanity. Faith that a just God would grant them mercy on this beachhead or on the next. It was the deep knowledge and prayed, God, we have not lost it. That there is a profound moral difference between the use of force for liberation and the use of force for conquest. We’re here to liberate, not to conquer. And so you and those others did not doubt your cause. And you were right not to. Don’t doubt. You all knew that some things are worth dying for. One’s country is worth dying for, and democracy is worth dying for because it’s the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man. All of you love liberty. All of you are willing to fight tyranny. And you know, the people of your countries were behind you, the Americans who fought here. That morning. New word of the invasion was spreading through the darkness back home. They fought or felt in their hearts so they could know, in fact, that in Georgia they were filling the churches at 4 a.m. in Kansas. They were kneeling on their porches and praying. And in Philadelphia, they were ringing the Liberty Bell. Something else helped the men of D-Day, their rock hard belief that Providence would have a great hand in the events that would unfold here, that God was an ally in this great cause. And so the night before the invasion, when Colonel Wolverton asked his parachute troops to kneel with him in prayer, he told them, Do not bow your heads, but look up so you can see God and ask his blessing in what we were about to do. Also, that night, General Matthew Ridgway on his card, listening in the darkness for the promise God made to Joshua. I will not fail the North for safety. These are the things that impelled them. These are the things that shaped the unity of the allies. When the war was over, there were lives to be rebuilt and governments to be returned to the people. There were nations to be reborn. Above all, there was a new peace, to be assured. These were huge and daunting tasks. But the Allies summoned strength from the faith, belief, loyalty and love of those who fell here. They rebuilt a new Europe together. It was first a great reconciliation among those who had been enemies, all of whom had suffered so greatly. The United States did its part, creating the Marshall Plan to help rebuild our allies and our former enemies. The Marshall Plan led to the Atlantic Alliance, a great alliance that serves to this day as our shield for freedom, for prosperity, and for peace. In spite of our great efforts and successes, not all that follow the end of the war was happier planned. Some liberated countries were lost. The great sadness of this loss echoes down to our own time in the streets of Warsaw, Prague and East Berlin. Soviet troops that came to the center of this continent did not leave when peace came. They’re still there. Uninvited. Unwanted. Unyielding. Almost 40 years after the war. Because of this, allied forces still stand on this continent today as 40 years ago. Our armies are here for only one purpose to protect and defend democracy. The only territories we hold are memorials like this one and graveyards where our heroes rest. We in America have learned bitter lessons from two world wars. It is better to be here ready to protect the peace than to take blind shelter across the sea. Rushing to respond only after freedom is lost. We’ve learned that isolationism never was and never will be an acceptable response to tyrannical governments with expansionist intent. But we try always to be prepared for peace. Prepared to deter aggression. Prepared to negotiate the reduction of arms. And yes, prepared to reach out again in the spirit of reconciliation. In truth, there is no reconciliation. We would welcome more than a reconciliation with the Soviet Union. So together we can listen. Lessen the risk of war now and forever. And Reagan will put in place policies. Economic, geopolitical, military. That in the end would destroy the Soviet Union. When we come back, ladies and gentlemen, Donald Trump at the 75th anniversary. And then we’ll talk about what Biden had to say. I’ll be right back.
Segment 2
Very short segment here, and I’ll expand on everything after the bottom of the hour. But let me make a point. I went back and listened to the entirety of Reagan’s speech. I went back and listened to the entirety of the Trump speech. I listened to the entirety of Biden’s speech. Reagan and Trump. When talking about World War Two, also mention the 6 million Jews and the liberation of the concentration camps. Joe Biden with Israel facing down a massive assault. Terrorists surrounded by these countries in the middle of a war where many of those surviving Jews found freedom and security in Israel didn’t say a word. He talked about Ukraine, and I’ll get to that in the next half hour, but not a word. Why? Why did Reagan mention it? Why did Trump mention it? And why did Biden ignore what’s actually taking place in Israel today?
Segment 3
President Trump 75th Commemoration of D-Day, June six, 2019. Cut three. Go. He battled not for control and domination, but for liberty, democracy and self-rule. They pressed on for love and home and country. The main streets, the schoolyards, the churches and neighbors, the families and communities that gave us men such as these. They were sustained by the confidence that America can do anything because we are a noble nation with a virtuous people praying to a righteous God. The exceptional might came from a truly exceptional spirit. The abundance of courage came from an abundance of faith. The great deeds of an army came from the great depths of their love as they confronted their fate. The Americans and the allies placed themselves into the palm of God’s hand. The men behind me will tell you that they are just the lucky ones. As one of them recently put it. All the heroes are buried here. But we know what these men did. We knew how brave they were. They came here and saved freedom. And then they went home and showed us all what freedom is all about. The American sons and daughters who saw us to victory were no less extraordinary in peace. They built families. They built industries. They built a national culture that inspired the entire world. In the decades that followed, America defeated communism and secured civil rights. Revolutionized science. Launched a man to the moon. And then kept on pushing to new frontiers. And today, America is stronger than ever before. Excuse me. You know, ladies and gentlemen, as I listen to Reagan and Trump, there wasn’t any politics, any partisanship, any innuendos, any cheap shots. Republicans, Democrats, non-affiliated, could all embrace it. It’s about America, not America’s political parties or political differences. And so while some good things were said today by Biden, he does not deserve the accolades that most people are giving. I watched it. I listened to it. So did others like Christian to talk. The Washington Examiner. Biden uses D-Day speech to take veiled shots at Trump. Vows to stand by Ukraine. I delivered remarks commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France, vowing to continue standing alongside the people of Ukraine. And I’ll stop right there. The problem is, ladies and gentlemen. Is retired four star General Jack Keane has said several times now on Fox. They’re trying to run a war. Ukraine’s defense against. Putin and the fascists. Out of the White House, what kind of weapons they can use, how they can use the weapons, kind of weapons they must not use. And they’re putting their foot down with Europe to. It’s always too little, too late. We’ve poured tens of billions of dollars in the Ukraine. But you can’t blame Ukraine when it’s it’s not aimed at. Providing them effectively with weapons to take on. The Russian army. I’m not talking about to destroy Russia, although I wouldn’t have problem with that. But that’s not the point. The point is, you can’t fight a purely defensive war. It’s not possible. And so while he can talk about Ukraine, the Ukrainians are the first to tell you. That Biden has tied their hands. The Israelis are the first to tell you that Biden has tied their hands. And American soldiers are the first to tell you that Biden is tying their hands to. By destroying the culture in the military, you can see our recruitment numbers are way down. And by starving the military. Our Navy is way below the number of ships it needs. Our Air Force’s way below the number of pilots it needs. The Marines are as small as they’ve been in God knows how many decades. And I could go on and on and on. Not so with the Communist Chinese, the fascistic Russians. Not so with the Islamo Nazi regime in Iran. And the slave state. That’s North Korea. That’s the axis. That’s the new axis powers. They’re all building up. They’re all muscling up in part due to Biden funding Iran. So to give a speech about democracy and to talk about isolationism. It is very troubling to me that his actions never match his words. They go on In The Washington Examiner. Biden’s remarks honoring the veterans cautioned against allowing tyranny and dictators to go unchecked across the free world and bore more than a passing resemblance to comments the president frequently makes on the 2024 campaign trail about his likely opponent, former President Donald Trump. And I am noticing that. In the editing as they play Comments by Biden. They’re editing all this out. They’re editing all this out. The president often criticizes Trump for his isolationist foreign policy, attacks friendships with Putin, and often routinely claims that Trump would be a dictator on day one if elected to a second term. Biden said isolation wasn’t the answer 80 years ago, and it’s not the answer today. To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators is simply unthinkable. Were we to do that, it means we would be forgetting what happened here on these hallowed beaches. Make no mistake, we will not bow down and we will not forget. So why are you funding Iran? Why are you kowtowing to communist China? Why are you preventing the Ukrainians from winning? And why didn’t you mention. The righteous war that Israel’s fighting for its survival at all. Is that not democracy against tyranny? Biden also frequently mentions an unverified claim that Trump referred to World War Two veterans as suckers and losers while visiting Normandy as president. Trump never referred to suckers and losers. That’s just one of those lies that turns into myths that apparently you cannot kill. It’s like a bad cockroach. And he closed his Thursday speech by honoring the D-Day armed forces as heroes, which, of course, they are. Of course they are. So that speech had significant political overtones. It was not the speech that a world leader or statesman gives. I don’t go along with the crowd. We wanted it to be a great speech. We wanted to unite around what was taking place. The 80th anniversary of D-Day. But I’m not going to ignore what’s taking place. I want to remind you of something. This is the same president. A week or two ago, there was a morgan state. A historically black college and a men’s college, and he got up front of the graduating class. These young men who work very hard to get there, very hard to get. Through their studies. They’re part of the United States of America. They’re leaders, future leaders in the United States of America in any field they want to lead. They did what Americans do. Of all stripes. And he got up there and he railed against his country. He railed against America. He basically told these graduates, you don’t have a chance. America is systemically racist. It is systemically unequal. He did the same thing when he spoke at Howard University. He did the same thing when he spoke to Sharpton’s group. I can’t think of a speech he’s given in this country that has been inspiring and patriotic. That has made the American people feel positive about themselves, positive about their history. I can’t think of one. Can you? He gets in front of Independence Hall where I’ve been 100 times. And more. Sacred ground, in my view. Is one of the most horrendous, hateful speeches any president has ever given. Those men who died on D-Day and died after D-Day and died before D-Day. And are dying now. In some hellhole, some corner of the world. They’re not fighting for a racist America. They’re not fighting for inequality. They’re not fighting for imperialism and colonialism. They’re not fighting for the 1619 project as opposed to 1776. They’re not fighting. So the American flag be pulled down for the Palestinian flag. They’re not fighting. So the borders open. So Venezuelan gangs can come in here, attack, shoot cops. So women could be raped and aborted, children sold into pornography. They’re not fighting for any of that. They’re patriots. It’s a volunteer military. They don’t have to be there. They’ve been drafted. It is hard for me to put behind the things that Joe Biden has said about this country and says about it over and over again, trying to turn an American against American. It’s very difficult for me to tolerate this. And this from the man when he set foot in the Senate, threw in with the racists in the segregationist. With four races and segregationists in particular, two from Mississippi, one from Georgia, one from West Virginia, all of whom had been backed by the local Klan, one of whom started the local Klan. And he goes to these colleges and universities, these historically black colleges. Any attacks this country. And there he is on D-Day, saying many important, significant things, but laced with the real Joe Biden. This is a nasty dude. That was not the place to take shots. As for isolationism. I take a backseat to nobody on isolationism. But it is Joe Biden who’s withholding arms from Israel and telling Israel that not only can it defeat Hamas, but Hezbollah, that is. Shooting rockets in the misery Israel in God knows how many quantities attacking their towns. Starting forest fires. There’s a war going on in Israel. Was warned today. Not to react. Can you imagine Joe Biden as president United States? When we were struck at Pearl Harbor. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m just going to tell you this as a grandson of a warrior. As the great nephew of a warrior. Is the son of a warrior. I don’t have to pretend. I don’t have to play along, and I’m not going to. I wished that he would have given given an inspiring, searing speech, but he did not. Ten, 20, 30 years from now, nobody’s going to play that speech as an inspiration for the American people. I’ll be right back.
Segment 4
Oh, by the way, I’m not trashing Biden, and he’s trashing us. Okay. He can’t help it. This is this is how he has always been his entire life. He’s an attack dog. He’s done it to many great men and women throughout his career, throughout his life. Some of the most brilliant lawyers and judicial minds in the nation. Two prime ministers of Israel. He does it all the time. He is who he is. He attacked integration, which means he didn’t support Brown versus board. He gives these horrendous speeches trashing the country, trying to fire up people one against the other. You sat on his hands with rampant anti-Semitism going on throughout the United States. And his biggest enemy overseas is not Putin. It’s not on. It’s not Khamenei. It’s not G. It’s Netanyahu because he’s desperate for the river to the sea. Crowd vote in Michigan in these other places. That’s the truth. As for democracy, trying to put your opponent in prison. That doesn’t strike me as very small D Democratic does. Are you violating our immigration laws in violation of the Constitution’s take care clause? That doesn’t seem very democratic to me, does it? To you? No, not really. Defying two Supreme Court decisions. Well, that doesn’t seem very democratic to me. And I can go on and on and on. So I’m not going to sit here like a clapping seal and go along with this. I’m not the one being negative. I’m the one explaining what this man is doing. He’s the most powerful man in the United States. I’m just one guy behind a microphone. As we would say in South Philly. There is be. There you are, Mr. Producer. Hey, by the way, Mr. Pproducer. Hey, how are your Mets doing? How come you don’t ask me how my Phillies are doing? Great. Fantastic. Super duper. I’ll be right back.
