I’m laying out what I believe are four outright lies—starting with the claim that Tucker Carlson was “detained” in Israel. He wasn’t. He filmed in an airport VIP lounge, pushed a false narrative, and doubled down after being debunked. 

As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, who benefits from these narratives? Why are they echoed by hostile regimes and low-rent podcasters? And what happens when misinformation weakens the very principles we claim to defend?
