I just wonder how many of the younger generation actually understand all of that and what resulted from the attack at Pearl Harbor. My father was 17 years old. He immediately enlisted. My grandfather was 34 years old. He immediately enlisted as a Marine, and he saw battle at Iwo Jima and Guam and his brother-in-law, immediately enlisted and he saw battle at Guadalcanal. I want to tell the men and women in uniform today you couldn’t have a better Secretary of War, a better Commander-in-Chief. Thank you for what you’re doing to protect this country. And you keep hitting those damn Venezuelan boats and keep those drugs away from my grandkids and everybody else.”
