The Democrats are trying to turn the Barrett nomination to Obamacare. Obamacare has drastically increased the cost of health care to so many Americans. It drove up deductibles, it limited choice (in some cases, there’s no insurance choice), it did not reduce premiums by $2,500 as Obama promised, and it did not allow patients to keep their doctors. So, the Democrats then claim that without Obamacare, pre-existing conditions will not be covered. But the president issued an executive order requiring coverage for pre-existing conditions and, besides, most states compelled insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions even before all this federal activity. Let’s hope Republicans have finally figured out how to use the FACTS to counter the Democrat fear-mongering. No better place or time than at the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing.
