On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, According to the some conservative media types, Donald Trump was supposed to sweep Super Tuesday, but he lost three states to Ted Cruz and one to Marco Rubio. While winning 7 states is solid, it is by no means a sweep and within states such as Arkansas and Virginia, Trump’s lead was closely contested. Also, when it comes to tariffs, Donald Trump is dead wrong. If you want to protect blue collar and smoke stack industries you don’t use massive tariffs, because they will only destroy the industries they are designed to protect. Later, a public official should take into consideration what the people want and bounce it off the public trust. This idea is based on the Burkean Trustee which is part of a philosophy that embraces the American Revolution. Finally, Mitt Romney will be giving a speech against Donald Trump but that will be counter-productive. Romney is no Republican party elder and his effort only serves to remind Americans of his failed campaign against President Obama.
