John McCain said on Cavuto just now that Senate needs 67 votes to repeal Obamacare. He called Ted Cruz’s effort a fool’s errand. But 15-months ago, Paul Ryan, the House budget expert, told me on my show that only 51 votes are needed in the Senate to repeal most of Obamacare. Ryan is right, McCain is wrong, and McCain’s obsessive contempt for Cruz, like so many in the GOP establishment, seems to be more of a priority than defunding and/or repealing Obamacare.
It’s 51, not 67, Sen. McCain
