On Friday's Mark Levin Show: Mark gives his take on the overall Republican National Convention and says that he's not sure if the urgency of what is at stake here was communicated effectively. Although some of the speakers were good, if we are expected to win this election for the sake of the nation, we can't sit back and play nice. We need to hit on the issues, on President Obama's record, and the direction that he will take the country if he is re-elected. Mark talks about the viewership and ratings of the convention and how they were dramatically down – why is that? Could it be because the conservative message was not being delivered effectively throughout the campaign? Finally, Josh Mandel calls in about his Senate run in Ohio.

On Thursday's Mark Levin Show: Mark praises both Condoleeza Rice and Paul Ryan for their Wednesday night RNC speeches. He says that is how a convention should be – fired up and passionate about saving the country and winning this election. Mark also talks about Ryan's comments that our rights come from God and nature and not government. MSNBC's Toure argued against this so Mark proves how Toure is wrong and absurd on his race bating views. Reducing taxes, the size of government and spending are all intertwined – in order to do one, you must do all and that is what the Republicans will do. Also, Ted Cruz calls in and discusses his speech at the RNC and also his recent victory in Texas.

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show: Mark gives his take on day 1 of the RNC and says that the speakers and the Republicans need to start getting more aggressive. We know that Obama and the Democrats aren't going to go easy on us so why should we play nice with them? This is about saving the country from continuing to decline and about restoring liberty and the Constitution. Mark talks about Ann Romney's speech – although it was okay and fine, it's not going to change many women's votes to Romney. Instead, we need to lay out what Obama has done, what policies he supports, and what direction he has for the country. The problem is the lawlessness and the trashing of the Constitution that the Obama Administration has done the past 4 years. Finally, Mia Love, Mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah calls in and discusses her Congressional run and her RNC speech Tuesday night.

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show: Mark says that the GOP Convention is lackluster – there isn't real excitement there and that is because the Republican Establishment has distanced itself from the American people – the conservatives and the Tea Party. The very movement that allowed for a landslide victory in 2010 is now being suppressed by the Establishment bureaucracy. Conservative Morton Blackwell calls in and talks about the recent rule changes that John Boehner did when it comes to nominating delegates for the Convention. Also, Sarah Palin calls in and gives her take on how the Romney campaign is doing – what they need to do more of how they need to embrace grassroots conservatives more. Finally, Richard Mourdock calls in about his Senate run in Indiana.

On Monday's Mark Levin Show: We now have Mitt Romney and others saying that President Obama is a nice guy. We're in the middle of a political fight for the country, and we're trying to play nice with someone that isn't being nice to our children or the future of our country. What is going on here? Look at what Obama has said and what he has done – does that come across as a nice person, someone that has your best interests at heart? Also, there is now a movement at the RNC in Tampa to stop grassroots participation in the GOP delegate process and to take away the people's voice when it comes to the Presidential selection process. Also, audio from Obama when he was a State Senator saying he's not sure when life actually occurs – even if a baby is born and is outside the womb. On Friday's Mark Levin Show: Inga Barks of KMJ in Fresno fills in for Mark. She discusses the Democrat platform and wonders if the Democrats caring about women's rights will win over your vote. She asks callers of all political backgrounds if they can be bought in the name of the DNC pretending to suddenly care about women's rights. Are women's rights and the right to abortion more important than the economy being fixed? Women will still have rights even if Romney gets elected, but will the economy still be here if Obama gets re-elected? People are out of jobs and Obama is obsessed with abortion now, rather than fixing the economy and bringing America back to the economic pinnacle it once was. Finally, Dinesh D'Souza calls in and discusses the new film Obama 2016 and also his new book, Obama's America.

On Thursday's Mark Levin Show: Tom Marr of WCBM in Baltimore fills in for Mark. He discusses Obamacare and how the White House is at it again – this time making up lies about what Romney and Ryan would do if they got elected. They are now saying that the Republicans would end Medicare as we know it – trying to scare senior citizens into not voting for Romney. The truth is that Obamacare has taken so much money and further put our health system into jeopardy that unless we make serious changes, everyone is going to suffer including our future generations. Betsy McCaughey calls in and talks about her latest article on this topic, "Dems' Medicare Lie – Why Granny Should be Afraid." Also, Tom gives an update on the Fort Hood shooter and how we are not trying him the way we should be.

If the Democrats all of a sudden care so much about women and women's rights – only speaking up when it's politically helpful for them, then clearly they should be against Bill Clinton speaking at the Convention. Also, the Republicans are the Party of the people and the kids and the future – we are the ones that care for unborn children, as well as future generations. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show: Todd Akin has decided to stay in the race in Missouri and although Mark doesn't necessarily agree that his decision was the best one to make, it is more important to defeat McCaskill than to not support Akin. We have the country at stake here and the future of it, and we must stop people like Claire McCaskill and other liberals that want to continue the direction the country is heading and vote them out. We may have some resentment that Akin didn't resign and step down from the race, but that's over now and we must support him if we are serious about wanting to take the Senate. Mark also reads a great article from Thomas Sowell on the various things President Obama is doing and usurping the Constitution. Finally, Reince Priebus the Chairman of the RNC calls into the show.

Even the President came out to the Press Corps and spoke as he wanted to exploit the opportunity and his agenda. Mark says although he is not supporting Akin's comments, it is still very important that the Republicans beat McCaskill in the upcoming election. The liberals never turned their back on Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy and what they did, and yet we have some Republican establishment types that are already calling for Akin to step out of the race. And yet some Jewish people still vote for Obama – even if he's not acting in Israel's best interest. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show: The American people want their country back – and this includes stopping or slowing down the illegal immigration into the country. Mark talks about the political motivation behind pandering to illegal immigrants thru past Administrations and how this has led to an ongoing deterioration of us socially and economically. We aren't able to sustain the continuing expansion of the welfare state.

Americans Continue to Give Obama Low Marks on the Economy
August 15, 2012 On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show: This election isn't necessarily just about us – it's about our children, grandchildren and our future. We have a responsibility to vote in the people that will fix the wrong that has been done and the undermining of our society. When Joe Biden says stupid things about the economy, it doesn't prove he's just an idiot – it's also damaging our children and future generations. President Obama is trying to raise the anger level to try and rouse up a base that will vote out of emotion rather than coherence to the Constitution.
Mark also says the LGBT community doesn't have anything to do with the shooting at the Family Research Center – but rather, it's because clearly the person is a nut. Finally, Karen Harrington calls in regarding her run for Florida Congress against Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show: Mark discusses what he looks for in a Vice President and says that it is much more than what some Establishment people are thinking – that Paul Ryan was only chosen in order to win a state. Mark says that Ryan stands for principles and for cutting the budget – a lot more than just one state. Not only do we have to defeat President Obama, but we are also going to have to vote out some phony Republicans, as well as bring in more conservatives in November. There are grudges against conservatives like Ryan because the Establishment would rather have someone like Jeb Bush as the VP. Also, Obama keeps talking about Medicare throughout his presidency but never did anything about it except take hundreds of millions of dollars out of its' funding and put it towards Obamacare.

On Monday's Mark Levin Show: Gov. Romney has chosen Congressman Paul Ryan as his Vice President over the weekend. Mark says this is a great choice because he is a strong conservative and he will keep watch over the RINOs if he becomes VP. Mark also starts dismantling the lies that you have been hearing from the Democrats about what exactly the Ryan budget and Ryan plan are. Paul Ryan isn't the one that is trying to destroy Medicare and Medicaid – it has been President Obama. Obama took hundreds of millions of dollars from the Medicare program to use for Obamacare with no plan on how to refund what he took out. People are receiving entitlements when they have never paid into the system to begin with – this is unsustainable. The massive welfare state is not something that Paul Ryan believes in. Obama's vision is one where prosperity is shared, not earned. Finally, Congressman Allen West calls in about his primary battle in the 18th Congressional district Tuesday.

He essentially wants to nationalize all industries and have them under government control and leave the bill to the taxpayer whether we agree on it or not. The past bailouts have been an absolute disaster and they're still bankrupt when you truly look at the numbers. Also, what once were the backbones behind the Democrat Party – the steel and coal and other industries, are now under direct attack from Obama and his Marxist ways. Can you imagine if Obama gets 4 more years and the disaster that he would cause? On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show: An Obama Super PAC ad says that Mitt Romney is responsible for the death of a woman because Bain Capital left her husband without healthcare. But Mark finds out that the whole ad is a lie because the woman did in fact have insurance. So the Obama campaign and this PAC are caught in a lie while trying to defame Romney for things that they he had nothing to do with. In addition, if that is now the standard, then logically we can argue back that Obama is responsible for any deaths, illnesses, or misery that occurs as a result of his policies. Whether it's the open border problem, the Obamacare mess, or certain regulations, any suffering that comes as a result of this Obama should get the blame for.

We need conservatives to be speaking, not various RINOs.Mark also talks about a lawsuit being brought forth saying that the military shouldn't have 3 extra days to vote – even if they are overseas serving the country. Why is the government so concerned if someone builds a successful company and is able to employ others and better the economy? Mark also compares Democrat President's that didn't create private sector jobs before they were President, as well as where many of them got their wealth from. Romney created jobs and made his money on his own – that should be commended, not trashed. Mark also talks about trickle down economics and how government diminishes the success of the individual.
