The last time I spoke to him, he called me a few years ago lobbying on behalf of the Corker-Iran bill. I told him shame on him, that it was a complete sellout and violation of the Treaty Clause, and to never call me again. And, in fact, we have not spoken since. He can prattle on about Trump and how he (Sasse), somehow, is the last man standing for conservatism (which is a pathetic joke), but the fact is he is utterly inconsequential and has accomplished nothing in the Senate.
