On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, Brian Mudd of WJNO fills in for Mark. We have a Second Amendment because it was a priority to the Founders of this country. We have the freedom of expression and the freedom to defend it, but this is no longer taught in schools today. Kids today have no basis to know why they are even free and don’t understand the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting, but protecting yourself and your liberty. If we are going to have a debate about gun control we need integrity, acknowledgement and open debate of the facts. If the debate is going to just state emotional arguments and non-facts, we will just get a bunch of falsehoods in return. Will more gun control reign this problem in? Even if you had total gun control, it is not going to stop criminals from breaking the law. Also, the police were called on Nikolas Cruz 39 times, and the FBI on 2 occasions had been brought into the fold through 2 tips on Cruz. The FBI had everything they needed before the Parkland and Pulse shootings and they happened anyway. There needs to be accountability.
