On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, the Republicans and Democrats are seeking to approve the biggest spending bill in American history. The military needs funds badly but this no excuse to massively expand domestic spending which happened under Barack Obama. The one person who has been consistently involved in this under Obama and now Trump is Mitch McConnell and it’s an absolute disgrace. Republicans are refusing to try and get government spending under control. This year’s budget deficit will be over $1 trillion and our elected officials’ failed leadership is robbing the wealth of future generations. Leadership is hard. Statesmanship is even harder. Apparently that doesn’t exist anymore. There are no real efforts to get this spending under control and it is not acceptable to throw around words like bipartisan. In addition, Jim Jordan of the Freedom Caucus calls in to talk about the spending bill which isn’t even close to what the American people elected Republicans to do. This money winds up in the hands of radical left groups and just grows the government. This is the most greedy, most selfish Congress and most greedy generation in American history. Also, Lindsey Graham thinks this deal is great and says this is the best news for the military since 2011. If this is the best they can do, then we need new politicians. The vast majority of Americans don’t benefit from this. Later, Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review calls in to talk about the budget deal. Republicans with control of all three branches are undoing the one accomplishment they had when they only had control of one branch. This budget alone is 313% larger than Obama’s final budget request in 2016. How much more can we grow the domestic and social engineering part of the budget without destroying the country? Finally, Mark Warner texted with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch in an effort to contact Christopher Steele. How many of these senators in Congress have contacts with Russia and why was Warner going around the committee to get access to Steele?
